Thanks KSK! Every launch I see and explosions projecting me to outer space. I agree, I am hoping to nail down a launch song soon. It's been slipping in and out of my head for a few weeks. I need to get it down as a track. Stay Tuned!

Thanks! Chrono Trigger is one of my all time favorite games. I am glad it brings up memories of such a great game.

I have always been into jazz and piano. But I lack the agility and focus to pick up the piano. I stick to digital methods only. But I have fond memories of the music in Peanuts, I heard it in Kings Dominion and could barely resist tapping my feet. I ended up tapping my feet anyhow, lol. But I digress, thanks for the Soundcloud link!
-
BTW, if you hear something on my Soundcloud that you like and want to use, let me know. Best way to contact me is via email [email protected] https://soundcloud.com/billy-winn-2

Dude, wow! I love this. Jazz piano, real, non-digitized jazz piano. Makes me wish I could play piano with more than two fingers, lol. You really should hop on Soundcloud.com . That way you don't have to have people download the track to hear it. This is really good work and there is a good Jazz crowd on there.

Really? I didn't know that. I thought he was working directly with him actually. I fail at doing my homework there, lol. They seem to be happy with what they have though. If they ever asked, I'd let them use some without cost. As a new musician, it's always good to get the name out there a bit. Right now I am a computer tech, would love to change over to musician lol. Always takes time though, well, that and I am terrible at getting myself into the media stream of the Indie world. Publicity is my weakness hahaha

Thanks guys! Feel free SpaceSphereOfDeath. Let me know where I can send you the WAV or MP3. I am always glad to have music used somewhere lol.
-
I hear ya Rewdew2. I actually envision an anime battlecruiser flying through space. My crazy brain envisions the entire scene even the hyperspace jump. Funny how that works lol
-
Thanks Zodiak! I think that Squad is doing a fantastic job with their music. I give much respect to their audio team. I wouldn't mind connecting with a team somewhere to use this music in. I would love to be able to get better audio samples and push the limit. For now I am happy just to have people listen and enjoy the music

New music, new vibe. I had the day off and it's been a while since I posted music on here. https://soundcloud.com/billy-winn-2/planet-x Let me know what you think!

[Piano Solo] Orbital Tango in v Major
Jatwaa replied to The Right Trousers's topic in KSP Fan Works
It would be fantastic to have a Music tag. I tire of selecting Special. All art is special, but Music should never be forgotten in any aspects. Easier to search and find more artists. Definitely checkout Soundcloud. It's a great little platform. -
zERO Move Hero - Crazy Idea for gaming now on Quirky!
Jatwaa replied to Jatwaa's topic in The Lounge
They do, but theirs is limited in direction. Whereas the Wii Fit can sense the Up and Down and register leans forward, back, left and right; this idea would make the movement natural. If you want to walk forward, you walk forward rather than lean forward. This would add the ability to walk/run/lean in any direction rather than just lean to move. The method of movement is what differs between the two. My method would be to emulate the world moving beneath you. Like an infinite multi-directional treadmill. -
Hey KSP-ers, Aside from music, I let myself get into...well what ever my brain decides. This time, its an idea for gaming that could be used for computers, consoles or neither. I pushed an idea out to Quirky. Quirky, for those not familiar, lets you post an idea and people vote on it to see if they should pay any mind to it. My idea is to create a platform that can be stood upon that will allow you to move in all directions sending that feedback to the connected system. The platform is planned to be robust enough to withstand jumping and leaning as well as walking and running in all directions. This would be an ideal exercise platform and gaming platform all in one portable chassis. Some planned features I had in mind were 1. Portability 2. Variable tension via spring screws to allow the trackballs to be tightened 3. Usable connected or not connected to a system 4. Wireless\Bluetooth connectivity with mobile support 5. Ability to connect to Consoles But I am still at stage one and need people to look over the idea and give it the thumbs up or down. Jump over to the site and give it a once over and, if you like the idea, give it a quick vote. http://www.quirky.com/invent/643941/action/vote/query/sort=ending_soon&categories=all As always, let me know what you think. Thanks!

[Piano Solo] Orbital Tango in v Major
Jatwaa replied to The Right Trousers's topic in KSP Fan Works
The ability to play piano has always escaped me. Well done! I like the music indeed. It is very beautiful. Natural piano has such an advantage over digital sequencing that I do. You should post some on Soundcloud if you have not already. Great job! -
I would like to offer my music for free to the KSP proyect if they want
Jatwaa replied to edefakiel's topic in KSP Fan Works
I enjoyed this music. I agree, I feel that KSP would benefit from additional music. I leave that up to Squad though. As a fellow musician we can hope that Squad may do a similar "Get your music in the game" thing like they did for The Secret World" Never give up, you have strong talent that can be embraced and used in many places -
The intro sound was a hard pick. I wanted something odd to catch attention then to fade off as the song went more soft and flowing. Thanks! I am glad you liked the piece. BTW "No Heroes Here" is one of my favorites so far along with "Vampire Slayer". I am hoping to find some company that can use these LOL.

Forgot to mention, as always, let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Sparked by a beautiful Jool sunrise. That little probe brought all kinds of smiles to this face. I have been long awaiting this release. Stability in flight is wonderful. But who really clicked here to see me ramble??? LOL https://soundcloud.com/billy-winn-2/lets-get-building This one is a lil different from the last few. But I thought I would get some heads bobbing while building. I even added some industrial sounds. It's been a while since I made a track like this. Let me know what you think!

Excellent review! Very detailed and insightful. Good points too. I find myself trying to compensate for my lack of samples. I am planning on changing to EW sounds to alleviate the problem. I always feel the beginnings and the ends of some. But without the samples i hear in my mind I lose the path and have to make due with what I have. That part saddens me and at times make me just finish the track. But I shouldn't let it stop me. I need to carry the feeling through the track no matter the available sounds. I have years in bands and marching competitions and want to recapture the feeling of being on the field bread and drums blaring. But I digress.

I have a set on soundcloud called Kerbal Space Program Inspired. I have made the tracks in there all free for download

I did say that I would make it all free for ksp fans. Let me see about making it happen. I'll look when I get in
