  1. Where did you get the big sphere thing? I presume it's holding fuel.
  2. Just wanted to say great job. These are amazing.
  3. I second this completely. More detail on the current system's planets would add more gameplay than ten more planets I think. I want to have stuff to do and see when I land on them, and not just anomalies that you can walk up to and look at, I want things you can interact with (taking samples, researching new fuel sources or something, I dunno).
  4. They're handy things. If i need to get a bit higher I just strap another four of them on somewhere.
  5. That's awesome. Where do you get those inflatable habitation modules (not the rings, the cylindrical ones)?
  6. My ships mostly survived the update this time. My beautiful Mun base was underground though. I had to modify the save file to get it back above the terrain. Everything still works as it should though, and I'm using a ton of mods.
  7. One of mine from a while back (i posted to another thread but I should be here I think): It has since been eaten by the Kraken.
  8. The update just landed. Aaaaaannnnnnndddddd my mun base is underground .
  9. Here are the two launch vehicles for the station parts (i didn't get any screens during docking). You can see the delta-v stats in the screens. The main ring needed a steep profile to give the nervas enough time to circularise. The second part just needed lots of boosters. Main section: Rover section (The command pod in this one is detached at rendezvous and returns home):
  10. Thankyou! It turned out to be really easy to land, which was a surprise because it's really quite big and heavy. Bit of a struggle getting the main ring into orbit, but otherwise quite an easy mission. 3 launches (the base is in two parts, then one more launch to refuel), then straight to the Mun. She has plenty of fuel and thrust to get back to LKO too if need be.
  11. I really like the bobcat parts, and I'd be interested to see what kinds of bases/space stations people are making out of them. Here is my Mun base. It uses the HOME parts, the ANT rover and the Wayland ring structure. Please post yours too. [EDIT: sorry for wrong thread, thanks for moving] On the way to the Mun: Breaking Burn: Landed safely: View from the Rover: H.O.M.E. away from home:
  12. I have the blu-ray of that but for some reason my PC's BD drive isn't recognizing it so i haven't seen it yet
  13. I love MJ. For me, the game is alot more about designing a perfectly balanced, efficient (or just awesome looking) craft. I like to think of it as playing the game as an engineer rather than a pilot, then you can watch your creation do its thing.
