  1. Thanks for the heads up. I fixed the Image. Also, I keep trying to get an orbit out of an even smaller second stage consisting of the "200" tank, but it just won't get there. I even fused the second stage directly to the command module to shave off the (tiny) weight of the stack decoupler. I only got half way around the globe, and let me tell you, I do not think Jeb liked that landing. He lived, but it was hard. Dang, this game is awesome.
  2. UPDATE: My First "Mission" As I mentioned above, I played around with the tutorial, and shot a few rockets, but I wanted to give myself a set goal as a mission. Something simple, but interesting and challenging. I decided to try and achieve a full manned orbit with the simplest, and most efficient rocket possible, while still recovering my Kerbonaut safely. SUCCESS! It took many tries, but finally I used only a small 2 stage rocket (plus Command Module) to get Jebediah around the planet one full orbit, and recovered him safely, splashing down in the sea east of [Africa-looking-Continent].* The rocket I used: First Stage: LV-T800 tank with FL-T30 liquid-fueled rocket motor Second Stage: LV-T400 tank with LV-909 motor Jebediah takes a swim while awaiting rescue. Just my simple little mission, but I really had fun with it, and wanted to share my first experience *Is the planet based on Pangaea?
  3. So I was introduced to KSP from my pal Shamus Young over at TwentySided I got the Demo and bought it after doing only the tutorial missions, and I have not been disappointed. Current era space sim? Yes, please! Now my brain is brimming with all of the cool stuff that I want to go into the game. So here I am signed up on the forums so I can get up to speed. I am so glad this game is still being developed. *Dives in* Thanks for making a game you love! (That is a rarer today than it used to be and I love to support these kind of developers)
