Locked Sandbox mode?
Chozo Nomad replied to Chozo Nomad's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I feel the same way. This was just a thought that popped into my head and I was curious to see what people would think about it. -
I love KSP's sandbox mode, but I was curious to see what people would think about this: What if Squad locked Sandbox mode until a player completed the career mode? Or at least got to a certain milestone like visiting Duna? This would encourage players to think in more interesting ways instead of reaching for the nearest over sized booster and maybe they'd explore more of the solar system than they would expect! Or not.... Like I said, I was just curious to see what people would think about this. :b

4 Part SSTO - The Minimalist
Chozo Nomad replied to Chozo Nomad's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
That's weird. :l What altitude are you engaging the closed system? Also, I burn just enough to get the apoapsis to where I want then cut the throttle, then burn again once I'm close to it. -
4 Part SSTO - The Minimalist

*Safety and Landing features not included* :b And thanks for the compliment, Turbo. -
I made a 6 part SSTO a little while ago and wanted to see if I could go for even fewer parts. This is the result. Enjoy!

Finally Got A Download up. Let me know if it works.--> http://www./view/h9waah8na4vp183/HCS%20-%20Carrier%20MRK%202.craft Standard Asparagus staging, but it can get a little squirrelly between 8,000 and 15,000 meters, so be cautious. Also, had to modify some armor around the bow so guys in the hitch-hiker container could actually get out. lol.

Here ya go! Here's the Download: http://www./view/h9waah8na4vp183/HCS%20-%20Carrier%20MRK%202.craft

I needed a transfer vehicle for my less capable fighters... This is what I came up with. It's not exactly a true carrier, in my opinion, because the fighters are stored externally. D'oh well. Fun to make, but a monster to put into orbit o.e Now It's on its way to Duna with a small strike force. Woo!

Six part SSTO - R.A.P.I.E.R.
Chozo Nomad replied to Chozo Nomad's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
So it's not just me, then. :l -
So I made a teeny-tiny SSTO using the new engine. It was based off of Scott Manley's mini-space plane. This new engine is really cool and extremely versatile, but does anyone else think it might be a little over-powered? Maybe I'm just clinging to old ways. Oh well! :b Craft file is in the description, for those who are interested.

Wow. That's a lot of ships o.o
-
Thanks! (Making the subtitles took way longer than anything else, lol)
-
Sometimes and experimental craft actually works on the first try, apparently. O.o I was designing a ship for an upcoming series and decided to goof around with it in atmosphere and found out it was actually decent at flying! KSP is awesome. lzs0k&google_view_type#gpluscommentsSkip to about 1:35 to see the test flight start.

How's everybody's day? Needs more zombies, you say? So, while attending classes this semester a friend of mine informed me he was into making films. Pretty cool to begin with, but he later told me that he is trying to make a short film from a story he had published by the name 'Of Loss and Zombies'. Even cooler, right? Indie film development for the win! Here's the link for anyone who wants to contribute: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/of-loss-and-zombies/x/5468680 Thanks in advance for anyone who contributes!

Okay, maybe not that impressive, but it reminds me of the days when I was first playing the demo Landing legs are over-rated, anyways. So much science!o.o It's been fun playing around with the part restrictions that they give us. I'm looking forwards to more updates to career mode.

Thanks! As of right now, it's got 544 tons of fuel at it's disposal.
-
Some of you may recognize this ship from the Spiritwolf thread. This is it with a couple hundred tons of fuel attached It's on its way to being Eeloo worthy. I need to make some minimalist colony modules that can land on the surface.

Spiritwolf/Hanland Submissions
Chozo Nomad replied to Chozo Nomad's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I suppose not. Maybe. It's a lot of submissions to go through. A while back I made a short list and sent it to Macey. That was over 2 months ago, though. :l I don't think I have the file anymore X) -
Spiritwolf/Hanland Submissions

I might do that. The problem is, some people might get confused and think it's a second submission thread... :l -
Spiritwolf/Hanland Submissions
Chozo Nomad replied to Chozo Nomad's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I know O.O I never thought this thread would reach this point. Makes going through submissions a little difficult, though :l -
Hey everyone! I'm back again with another vid on how to fix an orbit. Again, I'm still pretty new at tutorial-ish videos, so any comments are welcome!
