  1. <conspiracy theory hat on> So what you're saying is the Kerbin Trade Center attack in New Kerbal City was in fact just Jeb with a couple out-of-control spaceplanes?
  2. The parts I used were all stock. The rover wheels are roverWheel3, and the landing gear is landingLeg1-2. I can upload the part files or the craft file if you want, but I'm not sure how to upload files in this forum. To set the landing gear I have to brake to a stop first, otherwise the rover goes flying in the low gravity on Minmus. I'm not sure how to set the brake non-temporarily though (pressing B only sets it as long as you hold down .
  3. I've noticed a bug where when I land my rover on Minmus, the game won't recognize it as landed (and as a result won't let me go back to the Space Center) while it's on rover wheels. This may be related to what you're experiencing. The workaround I found for it was to add landing gear to the rover, so when I want to go back to the space center or switch to some other spacecraft, I just put the landing gear down and the rover becomes "landed". edit -- and I should note that I'm not using any mods, so if it is the same issue, then it's not mod-related.
  4. Okay, all I gotta do is get out, fix the flat, and get back in... hey wait, come back!
  5. The story I use in my current game is that all the new Jebediahs are named after the very first Jebediah who died in the first attempt to orbit Kerbin. It is justified in that in between I had a horribly-failed mission to Duna that took 19 years to get an encounter, giving all those newly-born Jebediahs time to grow up and follow in their namesake's footsteps.
  6. Where did you get the little license plate for it?
  7. On my first kerballed mission to Minmus, I landed and sent Jebediah out on EVA. After climbing a mountain and then returning to the ship, he was almost out of jetpack fuel, at which point I realized I had neglected to include a ladder on the ship. So, after several failed attempts to get him into the capsule, he was completely out of jetpack fuel. I decided to send a rescue mission to pick him up. When the rescue mission arrived, Jeb's ship was still there, but Jeb was nowhere to be found. Only afterwards did I realize I had stupidly clicked "End Flight" instead of "Space Center", thus condemning poor Jeb to non-existence.
  8. This is a rover design I've been using for building a base on Minmus. It's a bit clumsy to drive, since there's so little traction on Minmus' surface because of the low gravity, and since the design is top-heavy. The rovers are designed to be dockable to build the base, named Jebediah Kerman Memorial Station, after my first Kerbal to die on Minmus. Its current population is 5 (it was 6, until Neilbree Kerman died in an unfortunate accident while jetpacking off a mountain).
