https://m.weibo.cn/5386897742/4349481921419447 Official news said the rover had move 163m by now and it reached its design lifetime. Shame there is no any new photo yet. Although the authority says popularization of science is vital, they actually willing to do little thing on it. A possible answer why the rover move so little is that the control team choose to keep the rover safe until it reach its lifetime, which guarantee a successful mission announcement can be told on the news, then after that they can do some real running and science. A balance between politics and science. -

The CCTV-1 broadcasted the docking process live in the early morning. The ship has docked with the station successfully, the hatch has been open & the two crews have entered the station. Base on the news, they would start to transport science instruments and supplies into the station later. The mission would last about a month. During the mission, tons of science experiments would be done, and they planed to release 2 probes from the ship to monitoring the combined flight structure from outside. Congratulations for the docking and good luck. https://view.inews.qq.com/a/NEW201610190023290C

Successful launch confirmed. Congratulations! Feeled like those people who stood on the beach of Florida and watch the launch of space shuttle. The only difference is now they have smartphones and pads.
