Liquid Hydrogen fuel and a Gas Core NTR would be awesome; amazing work here though., cannot wait for these to be 0.21 compatible.

what engines are those with the sphere above the bell? -
I have no Kerbal may be in space for more than 90 days unless on a specific deep space mission, so my station crew and munar shuttle crews have to be changed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bi-elliptic_transfer have you ever considered incorporating bi elliptic transfers. these would be preferable in terms of delta v over hohmann transfers while going from/to moho to/from jool or eeloo. Also eeloo to eve either way. Also very useful for going into low kerbol orbit. -
so now take the next step and figure out how thrust varies over time

Yeah - even the to orbit autopilot will screw up on some launches, if there is not enough SAS torque the gravity turn doesn't turn far enough to the horizontal. It will start burning below the horizon to compensate and before you know it you have an apoapsis of 80km and a periapsis of 30km and you are coming to the periapsis first.

Largest space station!
The Scientific Moustache replied to gtrusler's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
OK here is my LKO refuelling depot, when finished it will be around 320t, it sits at 80km, so far 8 launches and around 6 to go (mostly liquid). This will be my stop-over while I construct a larger station at GKO for launching large interplanetary vessels. can hold 20k liquid and 20k oxidiser plus 14k mono-propellant. It has two small and one large space-tugs. It can berth up to 5 small vessels (<50t) and 1 large (>50t) at any given time. In the photo the mono fueller can be seen docked at what will be the large ship berth.
