  1. Farewell Felipe, may the explosions of all our rockets guide you to great success in whatever your next adventure may be, and know that every person who has ever played Kerbal Space Program sends their gratitude for what you have created. So long, and thanks for all the fish.
  2. Started playing KSP in 0.12, didn't join the forum till November or December of 2012 though, so I didn't survive the Great Wipe. I've always been a bit of a lurker, though I'll occasionally post if I think I can contribute. Biggest change for me has been all the polish the game has gotten, I remember having to just guess my way through a trans munar injection burn because there were no patched conics, though I must say I miss exploring and I'm somewhat disappointed in the lack of new easter eggs (though that could just be that I haven't been able to find them...) I'm also in agreement with some of the other people here, I miss interacting with the devs on the forums, and I must say I'm not a huge fan of how much the dev team has changed over in the last little while. I miss Knova Kllisko (If you get that reference, you've been around a while).
  3. Sorry, never meant to offend. Thanks for all the great work while you were on the team, and looking forward to seeing what you've got in store for the future!
  4. Thanks for all the info Knova, nice to see you doing some cool stuff. Science of the Spheres is looking really cool, and I can't wait to hear what those secret projects are!
  5. Wow, quite the blast from the past seeing you around again. Completely agree with your thoughts. I really miss the novelty of having you around, and all the kool kontent you added. (If anyone remembers what, specifically, the k's are referring to, two internets to you!) Been working on anything cool lately Nova?
  6. Thanks for everything Alex! It's been nice having you around, and best of luck in your future endeavors. I think this leaves just Felipe for devs who have been with us since the beginning, unless I'm missing something. Thanks for the update guys, even though I was hoping for an earlier release for 1.0.3 to fix some of the bugs in 1.0.2.
  7. It's actually not that bad. The vast majority of the mass of the fuel tanks is in the fuel. The empty weight isn't too much of a big deal. In the stock game there's no better solution than just draining or using the really low density spaceplane tanks.
  8. I wasn't saying that I wasn't hyped for bugfixes, I'm honestly more hyped for bugfixes than new features! Or, at least most of them
  9. "CHOO CHOO!!" "All aboard the hype train!" Except it's almost certainly entirely bugfixes, which, while nice, aren't really the sort of things people get super hyped about, sadly.
  10. Thanks for everything Rowsdower! You were great, and I thank you for your patience with the fickleness which is the KSP community. My fondest memory is the one devnote after the Curse partnership announcement where your note was simply a link to a picture of several firefighters putting out a fire. Your humor, patience, and openness with the community will be greatly missed. When you first came on as CM, my first thought was that you could never be the same as Damion or Cap'n Skunky (who had been CMs since I first started playing KSP), and you weren't, but everyone is different, and I thank you for everything you have done for the community. From a longtime KSP player, and everyone in the community, we thank you Rowsy. Godspeed, and may your rockets always have the fuel they need!

  12. Ok, so it seems like a lot of people are having this issue, so I won't bother to include my accounts of what has happened, since they don't really add to the discussion. However, I would like to suggest a possible solution (which could probably be implemented in a mod if someone has the coding know-how). Would it be possible to treat ladders similar to docking ports, ie have the kerbal docked to a ship while holding onto a ladder, and simply have the attachment node move as the kerbal moves? Also, I agree with a lot of you that this is an extremely frustrating bug, and would love to see this addressed in a timely manner by the devs. Personally, I've been having this bug on Windows (both 32 and 64 bit) and Mac, going back at least to .23 for the sliding around issue, though the flying off at high speed is something I've just started experiencing with .25.
  13. Granted, but it gets a bit too close to the fireplace. I wish I didn't need to sleep
  14. Granted, but the imperfection is your doctor failing to notice a tumor that goes on to kill you. I wish my school system wouldn't have stupid rules.
