  1. They remade Colonisation using a modern CIV engine (Civ 4 I think).
  2. How long does someone have to be a member for before we can be racist to them?
  3. nothing, there is a confirmation box. If you click end flight by mistake then just click no.
  4. China, I would move but I love it here (apart from the internet)
  5. Possibly a stupid question but couldn't you collect water from clouds during ascent? Space planes with cloudscoops would make regular trips to an orbiting module where they would offload the h2o in large tanks which could be towed by an interplanetary craft quite easily when full. the first thing they would need to do though, is to send up a giant robotic drill that could dig us a nice hole to live in. The drill would obviously be self capping.
  6. Hi, YouTube is blocked in my country, is there any way of watching Scott Manley videos without it? I have a VPN but it is too slow for videos andI don't want to pay for a fast one...
  7. If you are anti EA then why promote their game? Armadillo Run is a good physics game.
  8. TIE Fighter Simple but effective, the opposite of my KSP projects.
  9. Might try the Nuke engine, never used one before. It is asparagus'd, you can't tell from the pics but it starts off with 6 huge radial tanks. The original design was for an SSTO, it worked fine until I added the rover and the living capsule, then the weight became too much. Thanks for your comments
  10. Yes, it's also actually my first rocket (although not my first flight) with some alterations. I don't do maths and rely instead on brute force The top part of the landing module can detatch from the main body, it never has enough fuel to return to Kerbin though, I think I can make the rocket more efficient though as I carry a lot of empty tanks up. I'm trying to build a Mun community but the landing sites are always so far apart, when I try to relocate I usually crash and die.
  11. This is the Valkyrie rocket. And this is it without the initial booster stage (The boosters drop back down to Kerbin) Drop the final booster and head to the Mun! (You can see the rover hanging underneath) Smile for the camera! Perfect landing Drop and test the rover Time to play! Recharging with Kerbals hanging around (can carry 6 Kerbals) Chillin'
  12. but the WORLD can end without it being the end of mankind, if we are not there...
  13. Are you talking about humans or the world? It will take more than Zombies to destroy the world. My money is on a supernova.
  14. Still, why couldn't you have just ignored them instead of playing along with it and giving them more ammo? The only person who looks bad in those screenshots is you for 'threatening' to stab yourself in the head. You are acting like a little kid. Grow up and stop making yourself a target.
  15. From your images it didn't seem like they were bullying you, you appeared to be attention seeking. They were talking about the game and you were talking about stabbing yourself in the head(!). Stop being a victim and making yourself an easy target.
  16. It's actually quite logical, there is nothing at the moon, even if there are minerals for us to extract, the cost of flying the equipment over there and then flying the resources back would definitely outweigh the profit. We would have to take enough water and air for the people to use, even if we only sent robots, they would need to be serviced regularly. It is very different to the discovery of the Americas seeing as america was already growing food and had an abundance of water and air...
  17. Thanks guys! I'll check it out when I get home.
  18. So I built a supermassive cool rocket with loads of complicated doohickeys and thingamajigs but I started with a single man pod. I have now realised that I would like to recklessly endanger the lives of three Kerbals instead, is there any way that I can swap it out without having to rebuild my whole rocket? Thanks,
  19. I teach English in China and one of the units of the textbook we use is all about space travel so I brought my laptop to school, hooked it up to the projector and we had a 'practical' session about gravity, orbits and fuel etc. The kids loved it and I think most of them went home and downloaded it. Unfortunately, as this is China, I'm guessing they didn't buy it...
  20. I thought the Chinese invented the rocket as a weapon (scare tactic) and its use as a firework came after? Actually, the firework was also a kind of weapon, the Chinese used them because they believed the noise would scare off the demons.
