  1. Thanks for your swift response! Hope you have a good weekend.
  2. Yay, sorry I didn't reply sooner but yeah I had only experienced it with the telescope.. mainly because it's the only part I performed a different behavior with. But it seems a fix was found. I get to award Jeb with an honorary kraken (read: bug) killing ribbon
  3. Evening First I would like to say thanks for making such a well thought out addon, it's definitely helped out with the challenges I've added via mods for my career save. Secondly, I think I might have found a bug. I'm not entirely sure though. I was doing experiments on the Mun in a sub-orbital orbit and used the telescope's visual observation feature. I switched scenes to the map and time accelerated to reach my AP so I could do my circularization burn. Once I got into stable orbit, I EVA'd to go collect the data (since that part of the ship wasn't staying with me) and when I went to right click it only had the DRE info. I get back into the command pod and right click and tell it to log observation data again thinking maybe I wasn't close enough (to retrieve the data) but instead it gives me a new result. It seems that either between switching scenes, time accel, or something elsetm caused the data that was generated prior to be dumped. The next time this occurs I'll try and see if the log is giving me anything to work with but I looked through it and saw nothing that screamed 'red flag'. It could also be the wealth of mods I'm using.. and it seems intermittent potentially so if worse comes to worse I'll just deal with it heh. Update 6/6 - Ok, after looking at it some more it appears to dump the data after going from an airborne state to a landed state.
  4. It's a good attempt at a rocket, not sure if you're looking for design suggestions or not but at a minimum I will give a hint. If you noticed that your craft was taking heat in your 3rd stage.. it's because you were exceeding the terminal velocity of the vehicle. I'm not sure which rockomax you had on the back of it, but mainsail or skipper regardless, you had about a thrust to weight ratio of 3+ (likely higher with the massive increase in velocity) I'm going to guess so you could end up getting more bang for your buck in that stage by throttling down and still maintaining upward velocity.
  5. Apollo 11 Wiki Tutorial <- Although it's a beast of a rocket, it does showcase how to place the CSM/LM together in one rocket.
  6. Bienvenue sur les forums KSP! Nice Screenshots by the way and I agree with Promii, the mod he listed will give aircraft and rockets a better aerodynamics model to work with. Hope you keep on enjoying the game and good luck from another newbie.
  7. I definitely liked reading over your Mission Reports, it gives me some good ideas as for what to do when I get further into my own personal space program. Keep having fun and thanks for the recap!
  8. @Xiphos - Thanks for the welcome and yeah, I'm slowly but surely going to find my balance between information and brevity. There's just so much detail to cover with this game that I didn't want to leave anything out and well, to keep it lively and not just preclude it solely to science, I also wanted to have it be something of a story to tell. I'll definitely be sharing my builds that I come up with and I look forward to sharing them and learning from others. @Specialist - Thanks as well for the welcome. Thank you for the compliments and the advice. I'll do my best to keep my blog interesting that's for sure.
  9. Just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself. Although I'm not completely new to the game with 12 days under my belt now I'm still a long way from creating my Eeloo Transfer Capable vehicle, or one to Minimus for that matter. But great feats in space weren't achieved in a single day, it took years for NASA to put a man on the Moon. In the mean time for those who are interested I started a blog as a fun way to remember my successes (and failures) and help other Kerbonauts through the experience I gain as I work my way up in my crazy little space program. I hope to chat with fellow Kerbonauts in the coming days and look forward to seeing what the community can accomplish in the awesome and amazing game! -Culv3r
