You guys are right, I did a few more flights with a different plane and noticed that I only hit it with the other plane. I was just using a flawed plane design that could only fly at low altitudes. Thanks for the advice Vonar. Whenever a moderator gets the chance, feel free to close the thread.

I think that they should keep the mountains, but move them north at least a little bit, because when one is trying to reentry precisely to land at KSC with a plane, it can be quite difficult avoiding the mountains. I would love to hear other people's opinions on the matter, and I am super sorry if this has already been posted.

you right-click the kerbal seat with a kerbal on EVA, and select "sit in" or whatever it's called. You have to be close enough though.

That looks really good, and I think i'll try to do a bit more aggressive part clipping, if I release another version.

I was going more for functionality than aesthetics, but thank you for not just pointing out the flaws, but also giving me ways to fix them. I appreciate that.
