I̶ ̶*̶t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶*̶ ̶I̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶p̶r̶e̶t̶t̶y̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶e̶s̶t̶i̶n̶g̶.̶.̶ nope. I didn't. The next 3 screenshots show the last time Squad updated their regular PC, Mac and Linux builds. These were all last updated almost a month ago. On the other hand, the next screenshot is of the PC x64 build Last updated 8 minutes ago. This is mostly speculation as I have little idea of how Squad or Steam works, but to me it looks like they have been focusing solely on the x64 build for a solid month. Any other ideas? Edit: Scratch that. The build ID on the SteamDB history proves me wrong. Ignore of this and continue to hype

Okay, HOCGaming, Danny and Scott have all posted videos within 10 minutes of each other. Consider the embargo lifted.

But Jeb, safety's my middle name!

During the hype of 0.23.5, when these new builds were getting attention, people were very quick to say that it was likely nothing big, and doesn't indicate anything. Hate to be a downer, but again it is likely the same and these new builds don't represent anything. However, I will say that with each day passing we get closer to the update being released, so lets sit tight

Part clipping is a great thing. 99% of the magnificent designs found on the forum have been made using part clipping and aesthetically speaking it really brightens up the game.

I go through phases of KSP mania and general burnout. Usually with other games this happens relatively quickly and I lose interest - with KSP I just hit my 500th hour. It's an amazing game but playing it so much at once can ruin the experience for me, and usually a new update reignites my interest for a little while.
-
Actually, compared to 0.23.5, the build up to this update has been really upbeat. I think the KSP media team have handled this one much better than last time as there is no massive amount of video footage given to us wayyy before release. As for the negativity, I haven't seen anything at all. People can wait!

I'd suggest a lot more parachutes - Duna's atmosphere is very thin. As for firepower, it *looks* like you have enough to make it back in to orbit, but I would probably need to see the delta-v it has. Don't waste fuel on landing if you can help it as well, just in case!

When it comes to rovers, the faster the better. As long as you get your speed above 50 m/s, there is no chance of crashing. For unknown reasons, at this speed hitting 'B' crashes the game.

Can we see some pictures? Looks interesting, especially the 1200 meter hull.

How do you explain the massive difference in size between Kerbin and Earth?
-
Can we see some pictures? Like what the UI looks like, and the new 'Spare Parts' module? I really like the idea of this!

Today, things got weird Sam Hall updated his Kerbonov mod, and it included a heavy duty command seat, which I thought looked pretty cool - I was also messing around with Porkjet's SP+, when I had a brilliant idea. Joemund, always the happiest* volunteer, was sent forth on this adventure to break the limits of Kerbalkind and attempt a daring feat of extraordinary courage and stamina. *may or may not be happy to volunteer As you can see, a perfectly innocent unmanned SSTO was being tested for means of peace. Or rather, that was the lie the public were spun. However, what was really happening was groundbreaking, dangerous research. Joemund, the brave maverick, was in space with no helmet. He got really excited but it appeared that Kerbals functioned as per usual in space without their helmets. Anxious to get out there, Joemund got.. confused. Bizarrely, his jetpack wasn't on his back but he was still able to wizz around in a similar fashion. I have therefore come to the conclusion that Kerbals have no need to breath and that they have ducts in their body that function as a jetpack.. Oh Texture Replacer, your ingenuity is my playground.

I packed 2 Kerbals for a science mission to Duna and assumed they would be able to use the science lab even though there was nobody in the command pod. 3 hours later, I couldn't clean the material bay despite having 2 Kerbals in the science lab so I edited the config out of fury. It felt good

How did you start your KSP learning curve?
WillHop replied to nobbers12345's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I knew the game existed to Nerd3's Free Games Extravaganza but never touched on it until I saw it had released on Steam. I toyed with buying it, watched a few videos, played the demo and bought instantly. That night I spent 6 hours trying to get my rocket's (which I named Apollo 1, 2, 3 etc out of originality) in to orbit. At Apollo 14, I realised going straight up and getting to space did nothing, and I had to turn. When I got in to my first orbit, I just sat back and relished in my achievements. That was 0.19, I think June/July 2013. I joined the forums and have never looked back EDIT: Upon looking at my join date, it was actually May 2013. This could explain the C in my English Lit exam...
