  1. The new sketchfab plugin could be of use on this thread...
  2. Yep! You just need, whatever solar panels are made of, a soldering iron, maybe some super glue, rubber wheels, and uh... yeah, I think that's it.
  3. If I get a bit better at Blender, do you think I can model an X-37? I don't know how to get it working in game and I'm bad at texturing, but I could try and model it, you could make any tweaks if you wanted.
  4. I noticed that when I looked closer... I wish I could help modeling but 1. I can't 2. You said you don't want modeling assistance...
  5. Can anyone out there make a X-37B payload? I want one .
  6. Your computer: Ohhh! Look! I wonder what is in this thing that says OS (Your drive)! I wonder what happens if I highlight every thing in here! Hmm... what if I right click it! Hm... ooohhh! What if I click "Delete"?! Hmm... lets find out!
  7. One more thing. What did you guys use to find the correct dimensions of your models? I just used a backround pic.
  8. Huh? Um... My model... no... uh, did you confuse me with Chimer4? Uh... my models are... well... crap EDIT: This was directed to CluelessModeler.
  9. LM employee: Sir! We have two designs, this simple but very capable one, or this massive, explosive, and totally Kerbal one with 4 CCB's and 13 RD-180's! So which one are we gonna use? C.E.O.: Hm... safety is our main priority so... number 2!
  10. I don't mean to insult Lockheed Martin, but the second one in Phase 3B looks totally Kerbal . Strapping 4 CCB's on the side of your rocket. LoL.
  11. Advanced Common Evolved Stage. Edit: The Advanced Common Evolved Stage, or ACES, is a proposed LOX/LH2 upper stage rocket for use on space launch vehicles. The design concept is from the U.S. company United Launch Alliance (ULA).[1] ACES is intended to boost satellite payloads to geosynchronous orbit or, in the case of an interplanetary space probe, to or near to escape velocity. Other alternative uses include a proposal to provide in-space propellant depots in LEO or at L2 that could be used as way-stations for other rockets to stop and refuel on the way to beyond-LEO or interplanetary missions, and to provide the high-energy technical capacity for the cleanup of space debris.
  12. X-37B Boom. Mind blown people. I'm a genius! And probably wrong... Edit: BTW Chimer4, your 77th post was the 77th post on this thread . Edit Edit: I know a few mods that used NASA meshes, one being a Space Shuttle mod in progress, I heard it runs fine on average computers.
  13. Hm... I THINK I know what it is... will you be mad if I guess it right?
  14. Sorry for the late reply... Just spent a day beating Portal 1 and 2. Anyways, I used mechjeb but I am able to fly it manually.
  15. I decided to try sticking a KW Globe V SRB on the Atlas V to see if it was stable and still easy to control with only 1 booster (411 config.). It flies nicely and is very stable. I used fixed cameras to take some dramatic () pics. Liftoff! On-board cam. Booster cam. Booster separation. Booster return.
  16. Ah. Oh well. Edit: Here's my attempt at Blender, I couldn't get any further than this.
  17. Hey, you remember in my earlier post's that I wanted to print an Atlas V. Well, I took a shot at Blender, and I was able to make the upper stages pretty easily, but my attempt at the CCB ended up as a blob of polys. So would it be ok if someone who had the CCB model could send it to me? As you (Chimer4) were gonna send me the models anyway. P.S. After you give me your answer, I promise I won't de-rail this thread anymore.
