  1. One more question: I know you aren't finished with the Atlas V yet, but what range capabilities do you plan on it having? Will it be able to send a rover to Duna? Or no more than a rover to Minmus?
  2. Hehe. I'm really exited for this, I think you're the first one to do this (?) Well, I've got things to do. *rushes to Google and desperately searches Lockheed Martin's space things*
  3. Heh. Anyways, back to the mod. When do you plan to have the Atlas V, and the whole mod, done?
  4. Brace... Brace!... BRACE!... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Thank you! You're a life saver! I probably would've ended up dieing from Google, or loosing $210 on a Atlas V 501 over on TurboSquid... EDIT: And anyways, I'm fine with waiting, It's not like I've got anything better to do considering school is over...
  5. YAY! I also made an Atlas V 541 with KW Rocketry, the current rocket looks better than these pics, but whatever: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/33721-Atlas-K-A-Kerbal-reproduction-of-the-Atlas-V-500-Series The current rocket has the SRBs closer together and further down on the rocket. Anyways, I want to ask this... but I also don't... well here it goes. So, after getting my 3D printed Jeb from shapeways, I've been pretty hooked on 3D printing, and I Googled like it meant my life but I couldn't find a free 3D models of an Atlas V... so... I was wondering if you had any free time, you could make a low detail, textureless, model of an Atlas V (400 or 500). Obviously, if you can do this it doesn't have to have much detail because I'm planning on making it only 3-ish cm so I can plate it in gold without busting my wallet. So I would be super thankful if you could do this (or anyone else reading this). I realize you're making a mod right now so I'm perfectly ok if you can't do it, and if you can, I don't want to rush you, you can take your time. Well thanks, remember I'm fine if you can't make it.
  6. The Atlas V is looking awesome, can't wait! Anyways, one question. Do you plan on making the 501 when you're done with the 401? The Atlas V 5_1's are my favorite rockets. Also, the mod looks awesome, I'm so happy someone is making a ULA mod! :D .
  7. Bye. Leave. How do I lock a thread?
  8. Holy crap you passed light speed!
  9. Uh... I just realized something terribly wrong with the model... The throttle lever... Is at 0%... Jeb isn't NEARLY sane enough to even bring it down to 99%... Uh oh, something is wrong with Jeb guys...
  10. Me too, I have 4 cats, they're pretty awesome, two boys and two girls, the one you saw is named Allie, quite obviously a girl .
  11. Awesome! I hope they make a papercraft for the current Mk.1 pod. One thing, am I the only one who noticed that the height on the website is about 2 inches, but the real thing is about 3.5 inches?
  12. Hah! Jeb would be fine with it! Though I wouldn't...
  13. I noticed that too, the wrinkles are so...human...
  14. Yeah, I was a little decisive, but I wanted a 3D printed model anyways, just didn't know what to get, so when I saw this I said "Perfect!" I love KSP so it's great to have a real Jeb as I blow a virtual Jeb up. And anyways, it is limited edition. (Don't ask, I have no clue how a 3D model is limited edition.)
  15. WHY DO ALL MY THREADS GO LIKE, 5 POSTS, THEN EVERYONE JUST LEAVES?!?! *sigh*
  16. WHOA PEOPLE, CALM DOWN! I'll go through these questions. Price: $47 Sell them: The devs MADE them, I merely bought it. http://www.shapeways.com/search?q=kerbal 3D printer: http://www.shapeways.com/search?q=kerbal Jeb: http://www.shapeways.com/search?q=kerbal or http://www.shapeways.com/model/1013413/jebediah-kerman-on-iva.html?li=productBox-search
  17. Soooo... hi! . Well my Shapeways Jebediah just got here soo... look! Taking my first pic... oh nice, thanks for photo bombing my picture DARN CAT! OOOOH, OOOKAAY, lay down THERE! Fine, moving on. The model is about 3.5 inches tall. Here are his feet... Ahh... Jeb, so enthusiastic about his own IMPENDING DOOM! Side... Other Side... And... Finally, as I went to post these, I saw GIMP sitting there on my desktop... Hmm... JOOL RISE OVER LAYTHE... *cough* Well that's it... NOW BYE!
  18. Nice! Those are some nice rockets you've got there! I was going to make them stock, but I wanted it as realistic as possible, and KW Rocketry had everything I needed, the nose cone fairings, the SRB's, and the fuel tanks, so I used it.
  19. Oh. Oops. I didn't mean to post it here... Sorry! Yeah, can someone move it?
  20. Hey guys! I decided to replicate the Atlas V, I wanted it to look something like the Curiosity rocket. The one I made can't make it to Duna or anything, just a simple orbit, but I was just doing this for the reproduction. I decided to put a satellite into orbit. I used KW Rocketry and MechJeb, 'cause without Mechjeb it's like trying to control a bear or something. On drugs... Anyyyyways... here are some pics, let me know if you have any tips! On the launchpad, main engine ignition. Liftoff! Just after SRB separation, hard to see them, the rocket was going too fast... After gravity turn... Staging for my orbital burn. Orbital brun. Satellite in orbit! K-Mobile? AK&K? Kerizon? Well thanks for looking and feel free to give me tips on how to do this and that or whatever. Bye!
  21. Ah... Just got 3/4's there and went 25,023 on accident... Well I'm done with failure... so I give up.
