  1. Water is a frame-rate killer for me. I can handle hundreds of parts. I can handle the re-entry effects. These things barely faze my computer. But the water... oh god. Water destroys my framerate. Launches must be done with the camera facing towards the sky. Plane flying is tedious and painful. Even in orbit around Kerbin, the lag makes docking and other maneuvers frustrating. I've already changed some of the config settings to help with that, but there is still some lag from the oceans, and now they look lower than they actually are, so things end up floating in air, instead of on the surface.
  2. Awesome plane. I downloaded the rebalanced version and loved it. I haven't been able to land it though. I imagine it's easier with a joystick so you don't always jerk your nose up too far, but with the arrow keys I other come down too fast and pitched too far down, or I just start rising again due to bad physics. During one of my crashes, Jeb got flung from his seat at mach speeds, and crashed into the ocean 2 kilometers away from the crash site.
  3. Vanamode, I think you're not thinking about the question right, lol. I don't think OP was talking about the gravitational pull of the objects, but only the orbital velocity of it. Either way, KSP doesn't really model gravity that way.
  4. I think it would be Kerbovich. When my Russian family talks about giving our dogs a last name they usually just add -vich to the end of their name. We have one dog named Bruno, so he would be Bruno Brunovich.
  5. That's... really strange. It seems the Kerbals actually control ships with their souls, not with the controls they are given.
  6. Clever use of the Mk 2 fuselages. How well does it work?
  7. Wow, that's a really good looking plane, and it has SSTO capability. I don't think I'll ever match your building skills. Not with planes at least, haha.
  8. SOI changes definitely can happen, even when the object isn't affected by physics. I once had an eccentric orbit around Kerbin from one of my early failed Mun missions. I left it there, and poor Bill got ejected to interstellar space by the Mun. You can avoid it by changing your inclination to something less equatorial.
  9. 482. Put in an editor for every single part in the game. I simply cannot function with the fuel tank/engine/wing size I have now. I need to be able to customize every single thing about every part, eliminating a puzzle aspect of the game.
