  1. What can I say? Sherlock Holmes mode ON: This is , unquestioningly, a far superior spaceplane them its counterparts. The undisputed evidence is that it has, until now, nearly half of the votes. Regardless, it will be a interesting competition, since all the others has incontestably qualities. Sherlock Holmes mode OFF :D:D:D:D:D
  2. Ok, I will join the party. This is the Supreme-SSTO: The proud of the Imperial space program. This SSTO can reach orbit only with aerospikes. Originally it had 110 pieces now, after some improvements, it has only 99. Download .craft here.
  3. Thank you all guys, now is working perfectly: Now it just need some polishment to be uploaded
  4. Hi all. I've been working on some parts, but one is giving me a lot of work. This One: This is an Infrared Camera, like that found in the nose of Mig-35. The problem is: that golden part should be transparent.. Here in Unit: And for some reason in Unit it seems transparent, but not at the game. Any idea?
  5. Oh my... My plane get to the finals... I could never expect... Well, although I like my plane:D I must admit that I'll not be voting on it this time. Now I need to discover which of them is more "Stock"... EDIT: And what is next??? Hypersonic jets, SSTOs, cargo planes, rockets...
  6. Amazing!!! So here is my second entry: Lightning [sTOCK ONLY] [uNMANNED] [NO CHEATS/MODS] [MAX SPEED OF 2,298 m/s]
  7. My entry: Record Breaker: [sTOCK ONLY] [MANNED] [NO CHEATS/MODS] [MAX SPEED OF 2,301 m/s] EDIT: Is possible entry a second plane? I have a good unmanned drone.
  8. A long range "diamond wing" plane. Capable of full circumnavigation. With a cruising altitude of 30 Km at 1700 m/s. Also has a excelent low altitude performance. This is the... P.S.: Engines at Command Group 1. Link: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=130942DBDAE1E68E!183 Diamond Flyer:

  10. Also, Scott Manley has some tips: EDIT: This is an older version:
  11. Extreme SSTO Mk1: Wings are outdated ! This "airplane"(SSTO) is at a 160X160Km orbit with half of it's fuel to expend. I managed to make the jet engine work at +60Km with all that air-intakes. I guess it is one of the smallest things(SSTO) that have ever gone to orbit.
  12. Thank you Dispatcher. I did a new experiment: Wings are outdated ! This "airplane"(SSTO) is at a 160X160Km orbit with half of it's fuel to expend. I managed to make the jet engine work at +60Km with all that air-intakes. I guess it is on of smallest things(SSTO) that have ever gone to orbit.
  13. Scott Manley have this answer: EDIT: Sorry, I didn't noticed you have already posted it.
  14. In fact I combined "business with pleasure", my intention was to gain some control, make the plane longer and to counter balance at same time. In battery's case, I used it as backup in case o the plane need to maneuver, note that there are no solar panels. Of course this is just a experiment, you can see an example of a serious plane of mine here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/52561-Vulcano-Mk5 Vulcano Mk5:
  15. I was doing some experiments while you typed this, I guess we thought almost the same: Based on Vikingshelm Rev G
  16. This is Vulcano Mk5 a medium SSTO. It can get 10+ Tons of cargo to low orbit or can be used as a global flyer. Completely Stock. Action Groups: 1-External Jet engines 2-Internal Jet engines 3-Rocket Engines Note: The reason by what the jet engines were controled by separated command groups is that it allows the pilot to fire rockets and a pair of them at +30Km, with out the lack of air problem. Enjoy: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=130942DBDAE1E68E!180
  17. Well... I'm basing my engine on this: http://www.aerospaceweb.org/design/aerospike/compensation.shtml Edit: So in comparison with "MB-45 Rocketdyne lox/lh2 rocket engine. 200 kN. Isp=467s. Mitsubishi / Boeing" it would be something like this: Maximum thrust: 200 atmosphereCurve { key = 0 420 key = 1 390 }
  18. I'm working on some engines and deeply studing rocket physics. But there is something that I want to discuss with you all: How do I know that my engine is over-powered? Take this aerospike as an example: MODULE { name = ModuleEngines thrustVectorTransformName = thrustTransform exhaustDamage = True ignitionThreshold = 0.1 minThrust = 0 maxThrust = 200 heatProduction = 600 fxOffset = 0, 0, 0.25 PROPELLANT { name = LiquidFuel ratio = 0.9 DrawGauge = True } PROPELLANT { name = Oxidizer ratio = 1.1 } atmosphereCurve { key = 0 600 key = 0.5 500 key = 1 400 } }
  19. I've posted an image of 13.3. I'm chosing another.
