  1. I think they meant with the in game currency that is coming, not paying actual money to squad for points to use in the game for stuff
  2. With the economy coming I think a fun feature that could tie into it someday would be some sort of base management for the Kerbal Command Center. Think the bases in X-com: UFO Defense. -Kerbal Command starts much smaller. No Space Plane runway, smaller buildings, etc. -As you earn more money you have to choice to build new building such as the space plane runway, a telescope, Space Program Museum, Monument Statue in honor of fallen Kerbals, long range communications, the simulator mentioned in another thread, etc. Plenty of stuff i'm not thinking of i'm sure. -Buildings would be upgradable. -Research takes time, building a ship takes time, training recruits takes time. -Astronaut rank system (perhaps with some sort of bonus) -Different medals that can be given out to Kerbals after certain types of missions as mentioned in another thread. -You can upgrade buildings to be more efficient so things take less time, cost less money, give higher bonuses, etc. -Buildings and upgrades added to research tree perhaps. Well a lot of this could be changed around depending on what other features do and don't get added to the game but you get the general idea. And I apologize if this has been suggested.
  3. I think the first Mun landing has been one of the most satisfying moments in gaming. First time getting into orbit, learning how to dock finally and building a space station and also assembling a Duna ship in orbit and then making it back safely are up there too.
  4. One of my A.N.T rovers is no longer displaying the open hatch feature for me. Making it impossible for my kerbals to get out. Any fixes for this?
  5. Yeah I also think this would be a great ending song for career mode. Well done.
  6. First landing on the Mun is one the most memorable and satisfying moments in gaming imo. Other stuff is also highly rewarding as well though (like when I made my first orbital rendezvous to rescue Jeb recently for instance) , probably because this game has such a high learning curve. Most games today do not since they're in genre's we've all played a 100 times.
  7. Sent Jeb to the Mun, decided the lander was a death trap and just went into an orbit. Then went to and landed on minmus with the same ship, hauler and all. Didn't bother trying to use the lander. Since it was too dangerous. Screwed up the return time warp and flew past Kerbin and got another mun encounter by chance. So I said F it and tried to land on mun after all with the hauler. I landed but roughly so my hauler's engine broke. I then used the lander's boosters and RCS to fly as high as I could, EVA'd Jeb and used his jetpack to create an orbit. He now drifts while waiting for rescue. Was certainly an interesting flight.
  8. Edit:Forgot to change dead to Jeb up top and it's pretty rough in general but oh well.
  9. Perhaps a potential building that can be added for career mode. A museum to walk around in with ships from milestone flights. Could be cool.
  10. Jeb did a barrel roll while still on the runway.
  11. Good idea? Or great idea?
  12. Finally made a precision landing and added another building to my Mun base/colony/whatever. Unfortunately I accidentally forgot to fill the inflatable rooms with more Kerbals so i'm short about 12 or so which would have put me at 25 Kerbals, plus another 2 who are exploring in a third rover elsewhere. Oh well.
  13. Ah alright, so there just wont be light on the whole thing all at once. Let's hope I land in the right spot then.
  14. I'm trying to figure out if and when the north and south pole's get any substantial sunlight. Normally they seem to only get a little on one edge. Now Kerbin doesn't seem to be tilted the way Earth is (from just looking at it ingame, perhaps i'm completely wrong?) so it probably shouldn't work the way it works for earth. Can't say I know much about the matter, so was wondering if anyone did and could explain the way the light cycle works for the poles on Kerbin.
