  1. This was so incredible. Why on Earth he disabled comments on this gem is beyond me! If I launch and land a single probe successfully without Mechjeb (please don't scorn me) it's a glorious victory.
  2. My feeling is that they should first work on enabling windows within a single monitor. For example, I want my main screen to be the regular view, and then I can pop up a map on 1/4 of the screen, resize, move, switch to, etc. You could also then have a "window" view of IVA. Once this is possible, you could obviously just drag and drop these across monitors in "windowed" mode. The big questions is if any of these is even possible. When switching to map mode my computer lags a little, so I'm guessing quite a bit of processing power is required for map mode, or an extra IVA window or something.
  3. Is there support for VAB? Or is that not in the works? That is the main use I'd have for it I think, being able to rotate the ship, inspect, and apply parts intuitively. My limited knowledge of Leap means I don't know if this will work but if it does I'd probably consider getting one.
  4. There are still opportunities as it is. Using "normal" external view, headtracking could be disabled (it would just be a 3D screen essentially) or it could be used with headtracking as an "observer" if that makes any sense. In the ship-building, phase, it could be turned on or off. EVA would be amazing with rift, as would IVA (just for fun - not necessarily navigating - that sounds awful). It would also be great for rovers of course.
  5. Thanks everyone - I am practicing docking maneuvers now and getting into GEO orbit (Or should it be GKO?) This game is crack.
  6. Hey guys, Just wanted to check in. I have been in KSP since last Friday and am loving it. Reminds me of my early days having discovered Minecraft before it became what it became. I am hopelessly addicted to this game and have only played it 3 or 4 times O_o Anyway - I have been working on just really basic stuff so far - establishing equatorial orbits on Kerbin - messing around with different modules. Last night I reached the Mun almost entirely with RCS thrusters. I still have 65% fuel in the RCS fuel tank. I'm surprised how well those actually work for this purpose - even though I know that is not their intended use. I fully expect to be able to get back to Kerbin with the RCS thrusters now. I got my self into a fairly circular, equatorial orbit. Also deployed solar panels for first time. Here are a couple screens from it! Two noob questions - how do you change your signature & is there a way to resize linked images? Thanks guys!
