ah, right, forgot to tell its name.. This is the "ione2battery" not bad for an entry level, also i think this is one of the most easy/low part count setup. now back to the development chamber!

Hello, here my idea, with 0.25, probabily you'll smash it but me.. it use a single ion engine, 42 batteryes z-400 and one xeon 150 tank. energy/xeon is almost perfect to give 1443 seconds (24h) of flight. also very easy this plane: hit spacebar, wait a couble of seconds that reach ~30m/s and just take off. point your nose at right angle (i'm testing with ~5°), activate sas, time warp and enjoy. apoasis: 25.940m @930m/s http://imgur.com/a/bZQuw

Can't plan a manuever on the blue trajectory

had similar problem, i was able to place a node only AFTER the PE point.. seems to happen only when you have "cutted" blue path -
[science] decouple mistery goo
lesto replied to lesto's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
We know for sure "data" is valued only 50% of the experiment, the rest of 50% is given by "sample". We can say that capsule computers can only store a limited amount of data, and that's why you can only store one report for every "important point" of the trip. Maybe a "store in capsule" with a bit more of the transmit penality is fair. or maybe an "storage space" part but because science is IMPORTANT to me, i would like if debris with attached (and loaded) science doesn't get deleted, but instead correctly computed. Maybe a "fire and forget" will never be possible. With probe it should actually work, as they are seen as separate (and landed) missin from the space hub -
[science] decouple mistery goo
lesto replied to lesto's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
i don't have probes, i'm just at the first leaves of the science tree!! uff :/ i want to do without probes, just attaching them to my boster and pre-orbit stage. I always want to recover as much as possible for every flight, because i feel like the kerbal doesn't care to reuse thing, and i hope this will give you back some money, when they'll be implementet. Thay way money back + science = kickstart in early mission. -
[science] decouple mistery goo
lesto replied to lesto's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
if this is not implemented, it definetly should. In your case, if you have the tech you can add a ummaned pods, so you can check and correct flight path, but this is definetly something very usefull for beginner (in tree tech and skill) like me -
i think they are starting to understand how they can write a cleaner code, and that is the result. Good job squad

that elegant thing. It was in the small window after aerospike, but before the introduction of intake air. the 3 big aerospike to orbit (and a waymore), and the central one for the reentry.

Hi, my question is: can i saftely decouple some "full" mistery goo with a parachute before completing my orbit/before reentry, so when i'll be back they will be with me on kerbal and give me science point? (i'm going to try anyway)
