I'm still testing the new Jebified Saucer. The Mk I has some <ahem> landing issues. (Notice that Jeb is not smiling - Sorry J. ) -

Single Saucer To Orbit ! (99.94% Stock)

You can just edit them out of the craft file. I'm finishing up a bigger Kerbal carrying version so I'll make one without the lights when I put that one out. -
It's Mostly Stock - The ONLY mod is the Kerbal Aviation Lights ( http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/aviation-lights-v1-2/ ) by BigNose to get that great green glow. A fleet of these would probably be nice - with Lazors ! Craft File : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15738945/Saucer.craft Notes: 1 Key - releases launch clamps 3 Key - deploys dual parachutes (500 foot version) 4 Key - cuts chute 5 Key - toggles low altitude Basic jets (Below 15K) 6 Key - toggles high altitude Turbo jets (5 - 30K) 7 Key - toggles rockets (above 30K) 8 Key - Toggles lighting - You ONLY need RCS for docking - there's enough reaction wheels inside the craft to stabilize it at any attitude/speed - You should probably set an action key for releasing the Jr. Docking clamp as well - Refueling can be more easily accomplished by right clicking between red/blue lights at the very bottom of the craft.

That is REALLY well done ! btw - is the flight computer giving you any problems. No reason. Just asking ....

OK, is it just me or does that look like a stylized drawing of conan o'brian looking to the left along with the word "Conan" at the bottom ???? (!)

Unfortunately the U.S. government is not going back to the moon in anyone's lifetime here - despite the hype . We don't even have enough money to fix our decaying infrastructure, feed the 22% of our children who live below poverty level, or bail out our bankrupt cities. We gave all that money to the banks and mortgage CEOs and boards and none of them want to go to the moon (although I wish they would). Maybe we'll see China get there one day or Canada or Australia or some country which still has vision but sadly that country is no longer the good old U.S. of A. ( --- glad I got to see the moonshots live).

I saw it. I was 13. I remember at the time that the Russians were the very bad guys of the time (exactly like Iran is viewed today) but for that day the entire world was united and the entire world was watching their televisions together.. The video were blurry and full of static and they were only black and white The next day pretty much every newspaper in the country had the picture of Neil Armstrong taking up half of their front page. I had that newspaper photo framed on my wall for many years. America has never been as great since nor more admired.

Okay, guess I *won't* be reporting this bug after all...
JaneKermen replied to Tiron's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Seriously, are you trolling? Because in the time it took you to do your past 4 posts you probably could have been 50% there in creating a test case for the devs. If you don't put in the time to create a repeatable test case for an ALPHA product that you got at a reduced price in the hopes that you would send in bug reports, then why not stop whining about it? You were given solutions as to how to do this - conversation over unless you just want to troll. -
Well it had to happen - at least it was Jeb running the concession!

SPACE STATIONS! Post your pictures here

Here's my 2001 A Kerbal Odyssey Station .... (all stock except for the lighting. I used Bignose's fantastic Aviation Lighting mod for that ) It's a Mun Eclipse !! -
Yes I do have Crew Manifest - I was making a huge spacecraft and didn't want to have to climb 14 kerbals up the launch tower Oh and Thanks !! for the info as to why my pic was not posting - serves me right for being up so late at night. That silly little probe-wheel actually works and you can even turn it though it is a pain to manage. Kind of cool if you wanted to wide scale explore a small area . You could drop down a dozen or more of those thing and just go wild. Lightweight cheap and disposable. Maybe I'll try one with a couple of RTMs as Spartwo below suggests but with a couple of batts the thing will run for a couple of kms and yu don't really want to drive that slow thing much slower than that. I actually have a lot better in the way of rovers which I'll post later but it was late at night and I thought the idea was kind of silly-great,
