it's all those snacks, they are pretty heavy!
-
they say KSP at 5:08, thats about it.

I only play vanilla, not because I think it is in any form elite, but simply because I enjoy playing games in vanilla and not modded to death. I used kethane/engineer and KSPx at some point, but that was somewhen around .17ish, and since then I didn't care about getting them back on my hd. Everyone should play as he/she fancy, and you should stop beeing snobby about people that prefer to play stock.

I would like to offer my music for free to the KSP proyect if they want
bogpad replied to edefakiel's topic in KSP Fan Works
good luck with that dude, but pardon me if I stay pessimistic and say that I don't think this will happen. Have a free bump anyway. -
brought my satellite launching probe on a testrun to mun, placed 7 out of 8, one crashed into mun because I accidently released it retrograde and lowered its orbit too much, 2 of them fell victim to a total eclipse I had not noticed, rendering me unable to open their solar panel, so they are just spacejunk now I guess... Well, all in all, the mission went not too bad anyway, next goal, minmus!

this one is fantastic indeed, but if for some reason you don't feel like using it, a very nice and also .21 compatible method is nathan's faring factory. I absolutely love that one, especialy since you can also do really crazy stuff with it!

Do you retract station solar panels before docking?
bogpad replied to Oddible's topic in KSP1 Discussion
omg, dis is de smartest ding EVER! Why the hell didn't I think about that yet! I totally will do that on the next ship where broken solar penals can actually be a problem, and I will design a ship merely for replacing every kind of solar panel on other spacecraft! Thanks for that idea op! -
I launched a probe that was supposed to place four satelites into different mun orbits. everything worked fine until I learned that 3500meters are not high enough for a safe mun orbit So now, I have just 3 satelites around mun

The plane might be shaking, but it seems Jeb is more than pleased with it, so why change anything!?
-
not in space, but somewhere on Kerbin. It was one of my first Airplanes in .21 and I forgot to put a ladder on it so the pilote can return back inside the cockpit. Since the pilote was jeb, I made a rescue mission and picked him up, but his now unmanned aircraft still stands around in the middle of nowhere.

List of working mods working/not working for 0.21.1
bogpad replied to sidfu's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
not a mod perse, but can anyone please doublecheck Faring Factory for me, cause it seems I am unable to drag around the points to shapen the farings anymore, though I am relatively sure I could do it yesterday with n.p. at all... oO Is that something on my side, or is the side broken somehow? -
well, this propably is the first video I have ever seen where I thought the nyancat son fits! sadly, I have no experience with taking videos, so I can't really add to this, but I indeed planned on a microscopig space station. If the thread is still alive, I may post a pic when it's done.

Anyone has an idea what happend here?
bogpad replied to Galileo Kerbonaut's topic in KSP1 Discussion
were you able to recreate the problem? Maybe it was just a weird one time glitch? Because I can assure you, for me, everything explodes just as fine as in .20 or before (actually, I could do with a little less exploding atm, gotta get used to the new system a bit more first) -
Today, I learned that 4000m is too low for a minmus satelite orbit
-
I just tried a basic 2.5 stages rocket of small/mediumish size, with 49 parts that was a bit tricky to get into orbit in .21.0, and now it works absolutely FANTASTIC. not sure about really huge rockets with lots of parts, but for now, I say the new SAS works like a charm!

So That Once Anonymous Building Has Been Identified By Scott Manley
bogpad replied to irichey25's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I am relatively sure that it was already mentioned that this new building is mission control, even before mister manley did his video. and I actually like the idea of acealeam, it wouldn't be very usefull, since we can simple go to the main menue, but it would be a fun little detail. -
thats indeed something I encountered aswell, doesn't make it impossible to fly planes and/or rockets, but there certainly is something that is not as it is supposed to be.
-
I just build a rocket and had absolutely no trouble bringing it to a 100/101 orbit, with more fuel left than I am actually used to. It was a simple design though, a bit unusual with the placement of the engines, but thats about it, I will have to try it with a more complex and really huge rocket to see how that works, but as of now... it definately is different to fly a rocket now, but it works perfectly fine, you just can't really fire and forget anymore, and always need to have an eye on the navball.

there already is a thread about the issues some people have, and the greatness some other people think it is, I'm pretty sure you won't be the last to make an additional thread about it, but I still think one is enough.

What's the first thing you did with the new patch?
bogpad replied to Whackjob's topic in KSP1 Discussion
first thing I did was flying to the little plane hangar on the isle to check if the pod and engines is still there... SPOILER: they are then, jeb realized that he forgot the ladder and can't get back into his plane so the second thing I did was sending my first rescue mission... god, I LOVE the new SAS! -
I just tried planes yet, no rockets, and the new SAS works like a charm for me. I never had so much fun flying a plane in KSP, if it works even better for rockets as many people stated, it should be absolutely great. Just used it for atmosphere though, no spaceplanes yet, it sure will be different from now on, but if it works as good as for normal planes, it should be fantastic.
-
you didn't indeed, but there were other people kind enough to derail it for you, so I guess, as you suggested, this one is for the mods to close.
-
yepp, thanks a bunch and now off for some old school rocketry
