Good, you saved bunch of money and lots of frustration with a "game" where nearly nothing works.
Bought this lemon, played for 90 minutes trying to build and launch a moon landing capable vessel, closed the game after not succeeding.Maxed out graphics is pixelated and loks like anisotropic filtering and antialiasing are off(both on, toggled and re-checked)
VAB is half funcional
staging is broken bayond 1 engine per stage
Part manager breaks when staging breaks so even manual engine activation is not possible
EVA has 50% chance of sumoning kraken
manoeuvre gizmo sucks
Trajectory plotter has 50% chance of showing capture/escape nodes in revrerse.
Trajectory plotter lacks ability to display selected node info(ap/pe altitude) when manoeuvre gizmo is active, making trajectory adjustment major PITA.
We were promised feature cut version to ensure quality and we got ksp0.18.3 free demo feature list with ksp0.11 bug list.
removed and do not plan reinstalling for next 12 months.
It is way more buggy than I expected (KSP 0.11 wasn't anywhere near this buggy! I remember that.) But I expect with all the playthrough a lot of this will get fixed soon *Crossed fingers*

I struggled real hard to get things to work. Dunno if I was just unlucky but trying twice to land on the Mun, once on Minmus, and none of those worked. Staging failed so lander was stuck to descent stage. Fuel burned evenly on all tanks in ALL stages, so none left for lander when it disconnected. Weird issues with staging where things got stretched and torn apart.
Then the first time I try for Duna and it worked? Go fig.
This game is fun... but still all over the place. Plus... that ship was just an overpowered Mun lander. Wasn't designed for Duna! The parachutes were for a return to Kerbin, not landing on Duna. But once I launched and found I had way more dV that had been indicated in the VAB I thought... why not?
So first landing in KSP 2 on Duna it seems. Ah well.
Footnote. I think Jeb and Val will be stuck on Duna for a very long holiday!

It’s just a jump to the left...field.
Dangit! You quoted me just before I re-hyphenated..... I hate getting caught in mid-hyphination. It's so hard to get the stains out.

Hmmm.... Antici------pation?
Does thats a mean we's a doing a Timewarp?
Again?

My verbosity has capped out. Suffice to say my feelings on your work could be summed up by 'It's Good' if you turned the dial to eleven. Or even Twelve.
Love the atmosphere coming off this. Keep up the wonderful work Catastrophicfailure!

T minus 1300 and counting.
Set insanity to 6000 and watch the clock people.

Of COURSE it's inappropriate!.... Do it again!

To (finally) answer your question, pretty much everything has worked. Eventually. After sufficient exposure to expletives, brute force, and explosions.
Lots of explosions.
Space is hard.
Everything can be fixed with explosions!
*crickets chirp in the background and he suddenly realizes everyone is staring at him*
well, it's true!.... right?
-
Wish you all the best. Hope you and yours' all pull through OK. Take all the time you need. We'll still be here.
-
Ha ha ha.... that's silly talk! Why would they spend all the time sending functional hardware up into space? Surely tis just a convenient dumping ground for 'Things Vlad Has Messed up This Week' of course.

Really? *Eye twitches, finger poised over mouse button* T...There is really something else to do...? Oh, right... work.... *sigh* I guess.

Moe? Sorry, wrong franchise.
-
It'd be a rather smelly crown then. Not sure I'd want to wear it after THEY'D had their way with it.
-
Whoah. Just whoah. Things move and tales told to stir the soul... not neccessarily in a good way either. Yikes.

Homework done! And I see/saw/stood in awe at what you did here:
"And just before his head died, he was said to have spoken a prophesy: 'ye shadow of the first, ye whisper of the second, as empires rise and fall, so shall the revelation of the third bring the end of this age... and bring the hell that waits beyond."
That's some master-level foreshadowing right there. Particularly when I recall all the debate over what the third installment of this trilogy was going to be called...
You know what's really sad? I remember looking at that exact line when the debate about part three's name was going, thinking 'Chadvey's talk is BOUND to have a clue!' And apparently I just skipped right over the word 'Revelations' and missed it entirely.

You can't...
But some things are worth the pain ye ken?
I'm pretty sure no one has really asked the Haggis if it hurts. I mean, onions?

Actually clicking the symbols for symmetry and angle snap size both still work, though the short cut keys don't. I will try the key rebind though. Didn't notice that. Thanks.
EDIT: And that worked. Not only fixed the key shortcuts but also the symmetry/angle snap values. Thanks.
-
OK, running 1.6 with 3.3.19.10 of EER and at first it worked OK, then I noticed that in the editor it seems half way between stock and EER functions, and 'C' and 'X' keys don't work. The angle snaps, while visually looking like EER, behave as stock, ie 1, 2,3,4,6,8 rather than the full symmetry etc. At first I thought it was just a mixup and went with it, hoping it would be fixed next next time I ran KSP, but it was still there.
I've tried uninstalling, cleaning out any spurious files in the mod folder, then re-installing but still the same result. Is there a mod clash I'm missing?
I have a few mods running, mainly MKS and TAC life support. Here's the full list, and yes, installed via CKAN.

Over the past month I've been silently reading all three books in the trilogy, and now I've finally caught up. Some very interesting plot twists along the way.
I must say, this is one of the best writing in the Kerbol System! (No exaggeration!)
Please, never, ever stop!
I'm just imagining coming back in 2080 and reading 'Tourniquet of the Kraken, no really, the REALLY last episode!'

I think the smell might take the 'mystery' out of it. Could always change the restaurant's name to 'Anosmiaville' and have a very select clientele.
-
I think they'd do just fine, maybe gas mark 3, 15 mins tops. Bit of butter.... Though I think that anyone that eats that is another matter entirely! *Takes hat off somberly and respects those fallen partakers of the fried RSF special*

I admit part of the appeal is the animated music video (which I think was fan made, not an official thing) was so good. Well, it was obviously cheaply made, but had a lot of style and fitted so well with the song. *shrugs* plus I like wierd stuff

I think I need to look this up and take a listen to this....
Just be prepared for a long sprawl. A very fun one Think of it more like a story set to music. A story that bares little resemblance to anything that can be described as reality. Or at least none that I know of.
Did he ever find the one armed hunch backed Albino?
Favorite line... the ending.
"A... L... B... U............." Looks befuddled "......querque"
What did you do in KSP2 today?

Heh, I played a lot back then, though most of my stuff was between 0.13 and 0.15. Heck I did a load of stuff on the forums and most of that started in 0.15
