  1. So I analysed the problem and found its source. The problem was not to do with the game but it was the nividia graphics card, the 3d program decided it would be funny to make all games, not just ksp 3d if they were compatible, however the program wasnt installed correctly and so changing options had no affect, upon reinstalling nividia everything worked well again and yes I did find red and blue 3d glasses and enjoyed ksp in 3d, (there is nothing like seing jeb burn in the atmosphere in 3d.)
  2. I solved the problem the old fashioned way uninstall nividia 3D, and it worked.
  3. Thank you, but which option am I looking for, I have tried several and the restore option but it didnt work.
  4. I have played this game since a year now and suddenly its in red and blue 3D, however I havnt changed any settings, nor does it show a 3D option in the settings, the only mod I have installed is coolRockets. Any advicewould be appreciated. And yes I have tried unistalling all mods and a new ksp installation, to no affect. (It wouldnt be catastrophic if I owned red and blue 3D goggles, but I dont).
  5. Onwards to 200 and beyond. Unless we get distracted by 0.23.
  6. Personaly I tend not to use the engine of satelites or probes to get to the desired planet or moon, instead I attached a stage underneath with fuel and a nuclear rocket which gets the probe or satelite to the desired orbit and is then decoupled.
  7. I had the thought that it would be nice to have some challenges both player made, from other players, and computer generated ones, like land on duna with only one engine. I had the idea to include a building where all players can upload and accept challenges from other players, but also where all available kerbals will also give you challenges. so for example you are in the building and jeb will bet you cant fire him into an orbit and return him safely only using SRB's, you accept the challenge and after doing so you can collect the reward. other people might give you other challenges depending on their character. Additionaly all kerbals in flight and on other planets could also give you challenges. For example bob on the kerbal space station might request or challenge you to dock something to the station or bring up some supply's, after doing so you would be rewarded. Like this the normal career mode would be more interesting and challenging and the player can do more things. The player challenges could be on a whiteboard you would be given a budget, primary and secondary targets and also optional things like fly to duna without using any nuclear engines. upon completing the target you would be given the reward according to how many targets you completed. For example the primary challenge is fly to the moon, land and return. the secondary challenge is to land and return 3 kerbals, and the optional challenge to do it al in less than 3 days. you have a budget of 30,000,000. So initialy you would receive 30,000,000 to build the rocket. After completing the primary challenge you receive the main reward of 5,000,000, you also manage to complete the secondary challenge so you receive an extra 1,000,000 but you fail the optional one, so you receive nothing for that and you final reward would be 6,000,000. Before being able to upload a challenge the player has to complete it himself this would prevent impossible challenges.
  8. I think it would be great if you could change the colour of some parts to make your rocket look better. This could be implemented by creating another tab like the action groups etc. and then being able to select a part and change its colour. Each part would be split into several surfaces: eg the FL-T800 aka. the longest of the standard diameter tanks, could have 5 different surfaces the writing, borders, the background and the now black rectangles on the bottom section each of these could be cloloured differently. For example you start a rocket with the standard one person capsule and because the Kerbal might work better knowing he will survive you add the small parachute on top. You realize you dont' like the colour of the white chute and so change its colour to fit the command capsule.

    Hello

I have had this game for a year now but now I have decided to create an account as I enjoy both playing the game and reading the forum posts. I am looking forward to this especially as I am about to finish my exams tomorrow. Could someone tell me how to put pictures into a comment without including a link? Thank you in advance Almond
