it in some other thread, can't quite remember where now. I think AutoPruner is quite rude, as it renames files in the listed directories (just put the list in a txt-file and rename it to <FILENAME>.prnl), and some other mods might depend on an obscure model for texture (ie. the mk3 fuselage from Squad stock). You'll notice the problem as a model which is completely dark, not skinned. I simply found the part in question in the GameData folder (searching, searching, which mod adds this piece of crap anyway?), looked for where it says which other part it borrows its skin from and removed the .pruned extension from the .dds files. It seems to fix it back to where it should be. TL;DR - don't auto-prune if you don't understand the file structure of KSP, you might just fck up your favourite part (no skin). Also, I pruned with the above + the two stock RO scripts AutoPruner has. /Luxius Addendum: I run on 1.0.5 with the [URL="https://codeload.github.com/KSP-RO/RP-0/zip/master"]Saturday dev edition[/URL] linked in this or some other RP-0 related thread, which seems to run as it should, at least stable for hours. I wouldn't be able to spot all bugs, as I have just recently started to play RO+RSS+RP-0, never tried 1.0.4.

Ullage motors are intended for micro-gravity. Ullage in tanks is to be considered pre-launch (edit: at least for the first stage) and the first seconds after launch. When enough fuel is burned from launch it will no longer become an issue, since there will subsequently be plenty of room for the gasses to gather in. There was no question regarding the motors that generate G-forces to force the liquids to the nozzle for the engine ... blahblahblah. All questions were regarding the [URL="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ullage_%28wine%29"]ullage[/URL] in the tank needed to control/guide the gaseous vapours inside the tank as far as possible away from the engine. Again, see the link at the bottom in above post. If you merely filled the tank to the limit, all those gasses in the fuel would be, I assume, diluted into the fuel mix, and you don't want ANY vapours in the engine AT ALL. Pressure is nice, but if you OVER-pressure the fuel inside the tank, you essentially capture all the bubbles like it's done in Coca-Cola. /Luxius Edit: To put it in another way, if you want to push the liquids to the "bottom", this actually means you reactively want to push the gasses to the "top". If the tank is filled to the top with no ullage space, there is nowhere the gasses can be pushed to. I've searched a great deal for the answer to this question, but it seems it hasn't been raised? If so, please excuse me bringing up the question again: There's been numerous discussions regarding the [URL="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ullage_motor"]ullage motor[/URL], what it does and why it does it, but I can't seem to find any interest in the ullage space in fuel tanks. But I was wondering why a new procedural tank defaulted @ 84% space used for fuels the first time I built a rocket in Realism Overhaul (with RP-0). I've simply adjusted this to 100% at all times, not knowing if it had any relevant consequences. Does RO take tank ullage into consideration? If so, are the numbers adjusted accordingly for each type of fuel mix or should I simply expect a flat 16% usage for gasses and such (which seems a bit much compared to the numbers I've read elsewhere on the subject)? Also, if ullage in tanks are simulated in RO, how does pressurized tanks and cryo affect this? Please bear in mind, I am not a professional rocket scientist, I am merely trying to understand these concepts as an amateur geek - so don't hold back if I need be corrected in my observations! It works for removing the obsolete fuel tanks with the "stock" RO script, but I still have a bunch of "non-RP-0" items here and there. Would be nice with a dedicated script =) /Luxius

What if I don't get the fairings as a stage element? I tried ignoring this and right clicking the fairings in flight to "decouple", but there was no such option. Everything else seems to work as intended, shaping and such. Running KSP 0.90 with PF 3.11.

Bah, I finally read the extra zero. The orbit is supposed to be between 400 and 1200 km. Mission completed.

Pretty sure I found a bug in the third mission. I am told to leave the satellite in a stable orbit above the magnetic field of Kerbin, which in the mission parameters is described to be somewhere in between 40 and 120 km above sea level. This is correct, no? Well, my satellite is right now hovering above Kerbin at a distance of ~100-102 km (apoapsis and periapsis), but the mission parameter saying minimal periapsis should be 40 km is red, while all the others are green. I can't finish this mission. Has anyone else finished third mission? What am I doing wrong?

I think you missed the part where he DOESN'T let Subassembly Loader save the craft, but instead saves it from KSP VAB, then copies the .craft file to SL folder using Windows Explorer, hence not f***ing with the order parts are added to the .craft file.
