Hey all last night i landed my Constellation transfer stage: At my base on Minimus: What have you landed and what are your favourite moments if not images from that moment?

Dont do the whole 1.0 update with most of the stuff then release the second half in the next update and go out fix it all, Add all the stuff and have it all release many of us are tired of the extra updates when you can just do one then a few here and there.

As Zekes said Aesthetic missions are fun for example landing on barges.

I just had the same exact issue. Sad to say you might need to make a new save.

Designed a new barge for kerbals to rescue crashed sea planes. Best screenshot ever New Fuel Depot under construction with a Kerbal rated IXV and a tug connected.

Slash is right. If you are going to bring the craft back to KSC then manually load some cargo onto it with a crane it will take longer than taking into the VAB and just adding the cargo onto it.

I have the new fast barge!! i named it "Take a chance on me" (Who gets the reference) Landed the first stage on it for a few test runs because i want to make it go further and have more fuel on landing and still having issues. SpaceX:

"Take a Chance on Me" thats what the barge is called.

I use Mechjeb for this. This is how i make it work. I launch into a 75km orbit for my small sat then let it go and complete the orbit and circularise after that i let MJ bring me close to the barge and land on it and recover vessel. Later on i will use a CLAW and catch it on the barge to move it around.

Im in sandbox getting the kinks out of the craft before hand. Im not sure if i want to do career mode because i would need to go through most of it to get the parts i want. I may do a series in career mode because of the money aspect but would it be better skipping the early stages on a few things then going all out?

Making cranes and other things like that would cause lag around KSC because of a high part count needed for it. I find that saving 10 seconds of fuel for a powered landing saves the need of adding more weight to the ship depending on how big it is. So landing a rocket on a floating platform such as the image below and using recover vessel is classed as being reusable. I could make some crafts to take them to ksc if need be.

Hardcore as it would be is this barge is 64 km from ksc so i dont have any Physics kicking in. I am making a new barge that is bigger stronger and faster that way i can cover ground in fast amount of time and possibly relaunch rockets from it.

After watching Scott Manleys reusable space program for the 2nd time in a year i started thinking. If i was to press RECOVER VESSEL would it be counted as 100% reusable rocket or be classed as a new craft when it comes out of the VAB/SPH. If it was this would enable me to land rockets on the barge below and recover the vessel witch would save time. What do you think is it still classed as 100% reusable or be classified as a new after being recovered and opened up in the VAB?

Hey Elon i was close. Anyone following my progress on the 2nd official landing im doing i will have done it at the end of the week. Progress is coming along smooth and with explosions.

Just a few days out from my 2nd sea landing. Few new items on the barge and a bigger stage.
