I'd make replicas and put them near the original vessels with hyperedit (use orbit editor -> rendezvous -> 0.02 distance)

Did you use TweakableEverything on the decoupler from your craft? I am really stumped at this moment.

Unfortunately, the problem with the hinge is still here. It is actually caused by the decoupler. If I place the hinge on the material bay, it works fine. But when it's on the decoupler weird things happen. Sometimes there will be a glitch like in the video, sometimes the hinge will not move (the effect is consistent for a given craft). Here is a screenshot with two hinges, one on the Material bay and one on the decoupler. Both have identical orientation and IR settings and are controlled with the same group.

Thank you so much! Yeah the smaller pistons are hard to assemble, I'll have a look at the rework (I also saw a subassembly with the whole series of pistons somewhere)

Using a closed door hinge and telescopic pistons, this happens:

Not sure if the issue is caused by this mod or not, but if I include the KittopiaSpace part of this mod, ModuleManager does not start properly (there is no "ModuleManager: 602 patches applied, 0 hidden items" text on loading screen) and the game crashes when the loading bar is at about 20%. Has anyone else experienced this? Other parts of the mod work fine.
edit: fixed by redownloading everything.

@eggrobin, I played around with your simulation, but I used parameters for the stock KSP solar system. In comparison with Mattasmack's simulation, Vall gets ejected at around 13000 ks vs. 2400 ks (from this video
). -

Why is the app incompatible with my phone? I have a ZTE Blade with Android 4.4.4.
Edit: reading the thread, it seems that I also have a country/language related restriction. Please enable the app in Slovenia, I don't care for a translation, english version is just fine.
