  1. If I understand your question correctly you are wondering about GPS accuracy on another planet; say Duna maybe; while using the GPS constellation from Kerbin? It doesn't work that way. You need a GPS constellation around each body in the system that you plan on visiting and if that is the case then you need to build a bunch of probes that have the GPS and ScanSat modules on them so you can get accurate maps and data once you put your kerbonauts on the surface and they start roaming around. In that image your reference with the constellation over the Mun and Kerbin those were only to aid in navigating locally and I seriously doubt they had anything to do with navigation between celestial bodies.
  2. That is just my problem. I can't get an active connection unless I am at the launchpad on Kerbin. I can sync up antennas and have them working without any issues until I get the probes into the mission. They have plenty of electricity running through them; they just tend to shut down the comm link with mission control.
  3. Maybe I don't understand this mod enough to get it to work correctly but I can not get it to allow commands to be relayed to craft within the immediate area. I have a small synchronus satellite net setup around Kerbin that should allow commands to be relayed back and forth to the Mun and Minimus but my remote probes and such just head out and then do nothing. Most of them have flown off into the other areas and have no connections with Mission Control or the satellites I target them to. So I am going to read about this a bunch more before I attempt to use it again.
  4. Well if I am not mistaken all it takes to add items into the tech tree is to assign a few values and put the items into a relevant technical portion of the tree if you want to. That makes it pretty simple to add them into career mode I think....right??? Not trying to be a smart butt there just want to be sure if I wanted to go through all the parts and make them work.

  9. I built this one tonight just to see if I could get it to land in one piece on the Mun. It worked. Unfortunately one of my KSP astronauts got stuck in the structural panel and either died or passed out because I couldn't get him to do anything. There is no launcher and it is just a basic starting point but it flies relatively well and has good stability and is relatively strong; it is a heavy sucker though. Anyway here is the craft file if anyone wants to have a go at making it better.   11. I will toss one last one in here as well since I just started a new career mode thinking that was the problem since I added in the Nova Punch series well into my career last time.   12. I can't tell you how many times I have forgotten to add in solar panels or some other item just to help my ships make the journey. This is awesome to have; will wait on the updates to make the screen disappear similar to mechjeb.

  14. Thanks for the reply there. I had to uninstall the partcatalog addon as it was getting redundant to continually tell it where I wanted it to go and it was still constantly popping up every time I loaded up a ship out of my saved file.   15. Just had an error pop up using Novapunch and that gave me a CTD. I have been methodically going back to my previous mods after .23 nerfed a bunch of things and I haven't had any problems before trying to get the Odin Thor launcher running on missions to the Mun and Minimus again.   16. Due to this one always popping up after I load a different ship from my ship file I am going to uninstall it. I can't risk clicking on the close button and always grabbing a part of the ship. Especially if I am using one of the CORE Anvil series ships.
  17. What about funding via transportation of Kerbals and/or science missions for the "high tech companies" that supply the KSP?
  18. You have the external chair that you can use for rovers....just a thought.
  19. You have a craft file for this one? It would be extremely interesting to get it moving in my KSP game if at all possible.
