  1. I have a similar problem in my KSP 1.2.2 RO RP0 +++mods installed. Only about half of the science experiments work.

  3. Today I discovered that Someone at the agency has accepted three contracts involving placing satellites around Io. Io? Dude, it's like 1964 and our biggest accomplishment so far was putting a scanner satellite in orbit of the Moon! This is going to require some serious coffee... Other then that, as planned we launched the experimental Switch Blade Five communication satellite set. Turned out we should probably not have skimped on the avionics controls, but hey at least they're in orbit!
  4. I support this idea! A section dedicated to the game with the RO package (RSS, RF, RT, RP0, etc.) installed would certainly be useful to me, and anyone like me, who mostly want information specific to the experience of playing KSP the masochistic way.
  5. This keeps happening to me as well. I mostly use LR87-LH2s for my second stages and there's about an 30% chance they will fail due to vapor in the feedlines, even though i've usually got 8 solids pushing the stage and all the engines have been very stable for quite some time. Note, I mean 1/3 of my 2nd stage configurations suffer from this problem, the ones that do have a 90+% chance of failure. Edit: Usually I can get around this by igniting my engines one at a time.
  6. I don't think there's an output log anymore, since the game didn't crash (just stopped loading)? I did not update Solver Engines. Think that's the problem?
  7. FYI this update broke my RSS RO RP0 install. It stopped loading at the first jet engine from Squad. I tried deleting that part and then the game would stop loading and the next one, and so on. I reverted to your previous release and it works fine again. This could possibly be because I haven't updated RO and RP0 (due to conflicts with TAC LS). Or some conflict with any one of the 50+ mods I have installed.
  8. I've "successfully crashed" about 8-9 unmanned landers on the Moon so far, so not really ready to land anything on another planet yet. Altough I think the Ranger Mk3 with it's 17k dv should be able to get something with a heatshield and parachutes to land on Mars.
  9. Managed my first interplanetary flyby(s) in RSS RO RP0!
  10. "Huston, we done goofed!" Decided to switch from New Horizons to RSS/RO/RP0 - went about as well as it usually does when you've been away from RSS for a while.
  11. Decided to do some Mun base/mining/ore-delivery contracts, without leaving anything up there (the Kerbals are needed elsewhere).

  13. The ISX program is working the KSC crew overtime again. Having just cleaned up the mess from some of the "experimental" launches that where part of the Duna Expasion Phase One, pictured here: ... the crew just now got the upcoming schedule of Exploration & Evaluation launches: "Go tell your families that bad news, you won't be seeing them much for the next year!"

  15. Maybe there should be a fallout shelter for the ground crew available at the same tech node as nuclear engines?
  16. First few hours of my 0.23 career resulted in a Mün rescue (snafu). Ofc. it's all Jeb's fault for using too much fuel during the landing! Luckily Bill got the calculations right and managed to bring Jeb back (plus almost 200 science:).

  19. Will be interesting to see how many of the major mods remain compatible. Either way, time to start out a new career and practice those Minimus missions!

  21. The newly developed launch system worked decently and the upper stages all worked well. Two out of three objectives successful, dockable fuel tank and a com satellite are in Minimus orbit. Unfortunately a miscalculation in the probe lander design meant that it ran out of fuel during decent and crashed. Before being destroyed the probe did manage to send back some viable environmental data to Kerbin via MinComSat1 P.S. Couldn't figure out how to post the embedded imgur album, event with the tags, grrr...
  22. Sometimes I really like what overalls leave to the imagination. In this case, the drop-jaw disappointment on Jeb's face when CAPCOM finally told him his mission was actually just a capsule test and that he had been in simulator for the past two days. Oh wait, this thread is for awesome pictures? I'll have to get back to you once my kerbals are done joking around.
  23. Before reading this, my current project was to build a refueling station in LKO, but now I think I'll skip that and go for a Mun station instead. Thanks!
