What is the difference? Besides how they look and stuff like that. I'm wondering what kind of jobs do you do with Rockets and what kind of missions do you select the spaceplane for?

I have built my first working spy-Satellite. Is it possible to have it aiming towards Kerbal all the time and following it's rotation? As of now it's aiming the antennas at a fixed point in space so I'm missing alot of intel
