  1. Thanks for the replies i have now discovered the wonderful world of Layers! and don't have the horrid seams, so i have managed create basic tank shapes in Blender, create a Basic UV Map and then texture it using layers etc nothing complicated. so its coming along nicely...
  2. OK guys.. this is likely a very simple question for its driving me nuts... I have the following VERY simple texture exported as PNG from blender. here it is Now i'm using GMP and just want to colour in the boxes a single colour, problem is the seams when i colour in it looks like this: So you see the seams on the colour NOTgoing nice and clean to the edges. Plus i want the seams inside the large box to be removed... So i ask how are people getting this nice clean textures. Sorry is this is basic but only started learning a few days ago, using blender, unity and GIMP. BTW i have searched and these forums and google, lots of posts but not one that i can understand in plain idiot English....

  4. Gents, Being a bit thick here but how do i get a second install of KSP on my PC where i can remove most parts for testing? I'm using Steam.
  5. /agree with Paul Kingtiger for me a complete guide start to having a working part in game would be the idea. i'm completely new to this and want to learn but a start to finish guide for a single example part would be awesome.
  6. Gents, Anybody know of an L-Shaped Truss or crew tunnel in any of the MODs? i would like something like the truss crew tunnel that comes within kosmos.. But cannt seem to find any...

  8. Thats a pitty, atm i do as you mention and put them in stage 0.. though did not know the buffer trick or the ALT-L command.
  9. Gents, Not sure if this is doable... but I have a moon base, and i have couplers for two small landers which i don't want as part of the main staging, but instead only have them part of a specific custom action group.. So the question if its possible how do you do it?
  10. Thanks for the info, i will have a mess with action groups.. as for the G button there are three legs i dont want to extend ;-> though push comes to shove those legs could be removed...
  11. Guys. I'm building a mobile moon base, and i trying to work out how to make my 16 lander legs all go down at once... atm they only come down in two's therefore i have to click 8 times to get all legs down and that is a pain in the a**... I assume there must be a way to do so... so gentlemen answers on a postcard to this forum thread!
  12. OK, i have tried to experiment with the Ion engine and the RLA Electric Engine Mod, and to me they seem useless? I have tried outfitting a Kethane probe with these engines and thought i could use them efficiently to change orbits to do a full planet scans, but they just don't seem to have the power to do anything... Am i doing some thing wrong?
