I think the biggest issue I have come across is that the moment that you have multi stage rockets. for example launch stage --> transfer stage -- orbital/lander stage, then the plugin freaks out trying to work out the different permutations. Therefore I guess it appears that if you wish to auto asparagus anything larger than a single stage, it leaves something to be desired. Otherwise though, an amazing tool
  2. Crazy question. When the game loads up, does the number in the bottom right hand corner change to 0.23? Cause my version is still on 0.22, yet steam says its updated, but I can't get any of the tweakables and funky stuff. Updated steam, no update to KSP. Deleted local files, deleted all mods. Reinstalled KSP, still no 0.23. Restarted PC, still no update. Uninstalled KSP, restarted PC, installed KSP, still no update. I don't have 0.23 yet

If you use the extended decouplers that hold the external engines a good distance away from the central core, then you will not need to mess around with changing the orientation of the fairings in order to allow the engines to fire without damaging each other. Interestingly enough, it looks as if you are using the extended decouplers already. Seems odd as I have only had the problem you are describing with the decouplers that hold tanks much closer together.... Perhaps try moving the external engines down relative to the main craft a little, sometimes that might mean that the force is contained by the sturdier fuel tanks....

  5. I have been having the same issue re. ascent autopilot not appearing, and I have not been able to work out how to get it back through some iteration of the custom windows.

  7. This looks really cool. I have a lot more mods than that installed though, so will most likely just be tracking rather than actually participating.

  9. I have been playing KSP for maybe 3 weeks, decided that I would take the plunge and stream at the same time. I am not amazing at the game, that will be my one big disclaimer, but hopefully its an interesting series of videos. Right now aside from just messing around with rocket designs, my big project is to get a manned rover to the Mun. Something i am finding an awful lot harder than I would like.   10. I managed to make the Orbiter 250. Aka a 250 ton craft with 2 stages that is capable of putting a full orange tank into orbit. I feel accomplished. Pics to come
  11. I once made something over a thousand tons, just to put a 2 ton payload into orbit. Thankfully I got better since then.
  12. As has been said before, there is nothing structured yet, beyond what you decide for yourself. On saying that, looking through the forums is usually a really good source of ideas, at least I have found. The Grand Tour Idea is an intriguing one.
  13. Managed to send a stock probe to the Mun. 2.5 tons of probe and 600 dv left. I suspect I could probably get it back home. Maybe.
