  1. Dude, I don't want to be the one ruining your ...., but this has been around for at least a year now...
  2. Omg you're a GENIUS. hope it works, downloading now!
  3. My refueling space station in LKO, currently with VOSTOK Orbiter (winged ship on the left) and Roadrunner II SSTO (right) docked to it and refueling. The VOSTOK will stay attached for the duration of station's existence, acting as an emergency shuttle or maybe a Kerbin-Mun crew ferry. We'll see. Roadrunner II is due to undocking and reentry after enough fuel for deorbiting is transferred.
  4. Go have a look at Rune's Slightly Used Vehicles, he seems to be the master of SSTO's on this forum. He's got a design capable of lifting a whole orange tank to LKO.
  5. TIL there's a nice flat mountain not far from KSC which I could utilize.
  6. It depends on how high you are, so for and ssto the combination of both should work best.
  7. Interesting, cause my air-breathing engines actually work on Duna. It might be a bug though. PS. Oh wait, so intakes can store some oxygen... Sorry, my fault. Nevermind.
  8. As the title says, are the jet engines supposed to work in Duna's atmosphere? Because if I remember correctly, last time they didn't... Couldn't find thread like this, so I'm asking.
  9. Thanks, I like that you like my design. Also, your plane looks nice, I may do something similar in the future, if you don't mind... PS. I will edit the thread in some days, cause more thing are coming...
  10. That plane is amazing, nice job! BTW, my V-X1 was inspired by F-22, but doesn't look like it, just some similarities. You can see it here: Foomtish!
  11. Thanks, I didn't thought anyone will notice it.
  12. The Hexagon Industies is proud to present to you the V-X1, the best low altitude fighter ever made by my slaves, ekhe... kerbals, of course! It's quite nice plane to fly, completely stock, and isn't using so much late tech, max that for atmospheric science, so can be used for career play. Capable of breaking Mach 2. Oh, and almost forgot - it uses much of "not-liked-by-all" part clipping! You have been warned! Some info: Takeoff speed: ~80 m/s Max altitude before flameout: 15000 m, not tested higher Max speed reached: 700 m/s Total mass: 9,49 tonnes Download link: Catchy!
  13. Well, I land my raptors while going like 140 m/s, so maybe you are just doing something wrong...
