  1. Oh yeah forgot to mention earlier, scramjets! I soo want to have nuclear fusion reactor or cold fusion reactor with Vasimr behind it plus the warp drive that will be a awesome ships to pilot!
  2. What about this propulsion and reactor added to the game? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulsed_inductive_thruster PIT thruster. SAFE 400 reactor, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAFE-400. Or nuclear fusion reactors being made.
  3. From what I have read and seen on documentaries, they say VASIMR could bring quick transport to mars with a nuclear reactor powering the engine. Out of all the electric space propulsions made of being made, which is the best? In terms of speed and fuel efficiency.
  4. Thank you for posting this, I knew I was forgetting something. This would be awesome as well.
  5. I have seen this before. Im sure he is good engineer but from what I have read and seen on youtube. VASIMR looks amazing but there is still a lot they have to do. The have not tested it with a nuclear reactor. VASIMR is the future.
  6. http://www.space.com/21556-sunjammer-solar-sail-launch-2014.html The Sunjammer they are going to launch next year will not be the size of Texas but it says in the article if they want to do deep space travel then they would have to build a solor sail that about the size of Texas. Back on topic. Read about this electric sail technology they are making, looks interesting. http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn23498-new-satellite-sail-is-propelled-by-solar-protons.html#.Ui49jsasg8c

  8. I have heard a lot of good things about VASIMR and fusion propulsion they should defiantly add those plus a nuclear reactor.
  9. What about adding spacecraft which have not been built e.g. the x-33, VentureStar, Jimo spacecraft and so on?
  10. What about the other propulsions I have mentioned? Also what about having the Skylon in the game?
  11. Thiel - How would you know if they work or not, they have been tested yes but next year from what I have read apparently NASA is going to launch "SUNJAMMER" a solar sail about the same width as Texas. Back on topic. What about the other propulsion technologies I have mentioned? Also what do you think of the Skylon?
  12. Hi all I am new here, I was curious to know will there be any other types of electric propulsion besides the xenon ion engine? I was thinking maybe they should introduce the VASIMR (Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket), the plasma electric propulsion which, from what I have been reading and watching on youtube has a lot of promise, will be soon tested on the ISS. Also what about solar sail and electric sail which is currently being test. I think there should be more advanced propulsions which are being researched on added to the game. As well as nuclear reactors and newer solar panel technology. Please leave you thoughts and ideas, Thanks.
