  1. I started with 0.2x, after watching a few videos by kurtjmac on youtube, and played every Version since then. Howevery, I didn't play that much between 0.90 and 1.0, because of dwarf fortress.
  2. I add some extra gameplay, comlexity and, of course, challenge to the game with - Remote Tech - TAC Life Support - SCANsat with fitting contract packs Also, I really want to recommend kOS to anyone who is familiar with coding basic. I mostly use part packages which bring completely new gameplay mechanics to the game, and do not only add variations of parts which are already in stock, like new egines. I won't list all packages I use, just the ones I consider mandatory for my experience: - KAS - KIS - Universal Storage When it comes to spaceraft design, I strongly depend on: - Tweakable Everything - TweakScale - Kerbal Engineer Redux And the other quality of life tools I use frequently: - Kerbal Alarm Clock - Precise Node - Trajectories (Not using it right now, as Stock Aerodynamics are not supported yet)
  3. My Jeb is orbiting the Sun near Kerbin, because of slight miscalculations during my first journey to Minmus.
  4. After my first successful Mun landing several days ago, i finally managed to get to Minmus.
  5. Out of fuel in an orbit around Kerbol.
  6. - science points for only 0.99 USD per 10 points. - reduced amount of science points obtained trough scientific operations - increased amount of science points needed for new parts - auto and fast travel after launch. Just click the planet you want to visit
  7. - Stock parts for ressource gathering / fuel crafting. Much like the kethane mod.
  8. On the other Hand, landing on the Mun the first time is a once in a lifetime thing, too.
  9. I did some Testflights with manned Vessels. Due tu a little... misconception, one got lost in an very low Orbit around Kerbin. The next few hours were spent in building a spaceship with enough fuel and power to performe multiple orbit changes, for saving the poor Kerbal out there in Space. The rescue mission was not really a great success. In fact, the rescue vessel crashed several times on Kerbin. First, the carrier rocket didn't have enough power to bring the vessel into space - I lost 4 Kerbans due to this. The next two attempts failed, because I re-entered atmosphere too soon. The actual state of the rescue mission is: 7 deaths, and now 2 Kerbans orbiting around Kerbin. At least one vessel returned to Kerbin without crashing on it's surface. This - somehow - reminds me of my hundreds of glorious hours playing dwarf fortress.
  10. Hi there! I'm new here, playing this game since Sunday. What I can say by now about KSP is that it's on of the most interesting games I've ever played, right next to the magnificent Dwarf Fortress. After about 20 hours of gameplay (according to steam), I just managed to build a spacecraft that is able to orbit around Mun, and fly back to Kerbin without running out of fuel. Far away from any perfect orbit. All my attempts to land on Mun's surface ended in a complete destruction of the vessel, everything I send down there is too fast. How long did it take you to land your first self-built spacecraft on Mun?
  11. Todays greatest achievement: Sent a spaceship into an orbit around Kerbin. First time ever. Todays greatest failure: Forgot to extend solar panels, so the vessel ran out of power before re-entering atmosphere.
