  1. No worries, I'm not just doing all the contracts, I'm also doing orbits and min landings for fun, just wondering if the mechjeb2 update had installed correctly, since I heard there were some compatibility issues. It would seem it is working fine and I just have to unlock more of the tech tree to gain the missing functionality.
  2. I have updated mechjeb2 now running in KSP0.24, working through some of the contracts, not got too far in the tech tree yet. Mechjeb2 is lacking the ascent guidance and landing guidance modules though - is this because i've not yet progressed far enough in the tech tree?
  3. Really great work! Using similar principal I started putting together a base on minimus, until the poor frame rate made the process unplayablehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v609/al_heeley/minbase_zpse468bbb3.jpg' alt='minbase_zpse468bbb3.jpg'>
  4. excellent post, huge help - i'm off to make stuff........
  5. Firstly apologies for anyone telling me to search harder, I've trawled through posts for 40 mins and downloaded 4 or 5 different versions of this mod, but I can't establish if there's a version that actually works for mac owners yet? Everything installed so far gives me only the gps box and sat dish to attach to a probe but no buttons to mapping tools or any sexy displays
  6. I was playing with mechjeb on a hab pod, made of 3 cylinders turned through 90 degrees to make a horizontal tube - added legs and rockets, then turned it back vertical to launch but the mechjeb control box on the pod decided it wanted the pod+lifter to fly horizontal and not vertical into orbit. Is there a setting so you can change orientation or does mechjeb not function properly if you use a rotated or inverted part to attach onto?
  7. I'm playing about with the H.O.M.E. pods setting up a few units on Eve, sending them in by parachute re-entry from about 150k orbit. Is there a technique for being able to aim them to land better- within 1/2km or less of same spot?
