  1. I meant this: Link to dropbox is dead. Any other way I can get these?
  2. Link to Sido's texture is dead. I wanted this texture so badly, it looks beautiful. If there's another way to get these, could someone edit the original post so I don't have to dig through over 1,000 more pages?
  3. This is one of the funniest things I've seen here on the forums.
  4. In my sandbox save, I'm doing my 3rd trip to Eeloo. My 1st one I'm not sure counts, because I used cheats to bring the crew back (got them on the surface without cheats, though). My 2nd was a round trip without any cheats whatsoever, mainly to prove I wasn't a lying cheating scumbag. This 3rd time had a lot of firsts for me, though. I got there when Eeloo was near apoapsis, I got into a polar orbit (planned a landing site near the north pole), and I brought a rover (now much easier to develop, thanks to sub-assemblies). In my career save, I'm experimenting with Munar free-return trajectories in order to get as much Munar Orbit science with as little delta-v as I can.
  5. I've made manned round trips to Gilly, Mun, Minmus, Ike, Dres, Vall, Bop, Pol, and Eeloo. I've sent probes into the surface of Jool and Kerbol, and one into interstellar space. All I wanted out of spaceplanes was an SSTO that can shuttle kerbals to my 250km orbit 24 Kerbal capacity station, and maybe also deliver satellites to orbit. But only one of the hundreds of spaceplane attempts I've made has gotten off the ground without flipping over and crashing, and it ran out of fuel before I even got close to orbit. It was nowhere near as small as your plane. I applaud you, good sir.
  6. Great job, bro! But M4ck had a good point. I think he meant the probes on the cliffs next to the pit. Nonetheless, I applaud your math!
  7. I'm working on making an Eve lander that can bring Kerbals back from the surface of Eve. I always test my landers before I bring them out to interplanetary space so I don't end up with stranded Kerbals. For example, I tested my Tylo lander by bringing it into Kerbin orbit without any launch stage below it. But I'm trying to think of a way to test an Eve lander. Obviously it has to get into Kerbin orbit, but it needs far more delta-v than that. I had two ideas: 1. strap parachutes to the bottom, deploy them low to the ground, then continue getting into orbit 2. purposely make an extremely inefficient gravity turn at something like 1km, or maybe even 500 meters Any ideas?
  8. Hello everyone! I've actually logged well over 300 hours in KSP, and I've read through the forums before, but when I finally decided I wanted to make an account, I couldn't because the forums were down! Now they're back up, so I finally made my account. That said, hi. :3
