  1. Yeah, that's KJR. Get rid of it for a moment and see what happens. Launch clamps in Stock are impossible to move without bugs.
  2. Yeah, it's definitely not cubic. Then again, it is also octagonal. Bad naming convention is bad.
  3. Ten. Hey, yeah, Sal_vager changed it to a 5-character limit!
  4. We should be careful not to derail this into a chat section. Hint-hint-nudge-nudge. Other than that it seems like a good plan.
  5. The wording of the poll question is biased. 1: Pull the lever and kill one person 2: Do nothing and watch how 4 persons are killed. The second seems more "evil".
  6. That's... very interesting... Wait. You got the old capsule working in 0.90.0?!? Quick, put it up!
  7. Are you using the x64 bit version of KSP? Don't. It's bad, and they are discontinuing it for now until they can make it better. Use the x32 bit for now. Other than that, cut back on some of the mods, check your computer's performance settings, your active programs with Task Manager or the like on whatever OS you've got, and try Active Texture Management.
  8. A whole lot of reading.... a whole lot. Or a text finding thingy. Usually CTRL + F. That is, if you know what to look for, like the mods do. I have some vague clues as to what the logs mean, but a lot of it is gibberish to me.
  9. Modular Booster System version 0.6.0 is on the horizon. MBS 0.6.0 will add new models for engines, and possibly an upper-stage nozzle for each size. (Suggestion by FishInferno) I am looking for testers. Currently I only have one. Roles of testers would include: -Looking for bugs -Checking for consistency -Playing the game with the parts -Aggressively testing the parts -Not submerging the parts in water, even partially. () If you would like to become a tester for MBS, send me a private message or post here.
  10. Or just apply the brakes? The vagueness of these things is misleading.
  11. Except struts. Enough and you've got something that will not flex at all. Though you do have to use them smartly... triangles are your friends!
  12. Perhaps someone should merge these? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/110290-Center-of-Mass-Marker-Overhaul http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/110625-On-drastically-increasing-the-usefulness-of-the-CoM-CoL-and-CoT-icons
  13. One word: Sanity. You want to sit through a long burn, go ahead! Another reason, though, is that long burns are inaccurate. A higher TWR gives you a better Delta-V expenditure, AND is better on your real-life time.
  14. Yeah, struts fix it. Though so does KJR, if that's your kettle of fish. With the new gizmos and strut logic it's easy to make nearly-concealed struts... Just sink the strut or the part it's attached to into something else.
  15. The images themselves are very good. The way the Devs seem to be doing it (No "stereotypical" features like lipstick) is fine with me. So far I'm quite pleased. It is hard to make something look "male" or "female" without stereotyping *just* a little bit...
  16. I loved this little buggy... I'm going to go back to it soon.
  17. An experiment of mine... Never really got farther than orbit. (I would say off the ground, but, well... )
  18. Nu. (Wow, Nu is a word?!) How about tetryds?
