  1. For some reason Waste heat doesn't build up…at all. At least it doesn't show. The negative effects are still there. Just not positive things like Microwave transmitting. I can't do that. Something isn't playing nice in this mod...with my other mods maybe, or with OSX as a whole. I had a similar problem with RemoteTech, where no matter what I was doing the add-on didn't perform as advertised. Any idea what the problem is? I'm also using KW (texture reduced), Ferram Aerospace aerodynamics changes, Ferram attachment reinforcement, Kethane, RLA electric engines, Deadly Reentry, and the BoulderCo KSP reduction.
  2. I know. It's the coloring. I hope procedural fairings come with texture options in the future, because then it would be even more Soyuz like. I have built a Shenzhou before, in which case I use the Hitchhiker pod to replicate the forward module. A retexture of the command pod would help too. Will fix the engines. Will add a single 2.5 procedural fairings interstage to at least somewhat replicate the gap in stages.
  3. My attempt at creating a Soyuz in KSP. Procedural fairings came in handy when creating the forward module, which houses the battery and life support equipment. Not a perfect replica, but pretty decent. Mods used: - KW Rocketry - Stretchy Tanks - Procedural Fairings - TAC Life Support - Joint Reinforcement - Mechjeb Still doing some testing. Will upload the craft file once I am completely satisfied with performance!
  4. Ok, I'm at my wit's end. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I can't keep a signal when I enter the Mun's sphere of influence! I tried everything. I added relay's at Munar orbital height to that huge list of satellites from before, with 2 dishes, but the same thing happens, the signal for the probe drops!! I have the objects pointed at each other (I keep going into map view and juggling them with "switch to" to make sure they're always pointed at each other), I have them targeted via there dishes, but the outcome is still the same!! It always drops when I enter the SoI. I have managed to get dishes to lock onto each other between craft, but the actual signal only shows up on one of the craft. For example, while the munar probe was near Kerbin on the early part of it's trans-Munar trajectory, the Munar relay had a comm lock on it, and there was a line connecting them in map view. But that line only showed up in the map view from the PoV of the Mun relay. Even though they were locked, when I went to map view from the PoV of the probe, the line between the two craft does not exist. In addition, only the relay can initiate a comm lock-on. If I attempt to target a comm sat with the probe, nothing happens. Is there a dominant-submissive craft hierarchy built into this program I am not understanding? Or is it a glitch? I was originally thinking that when it comes to dishes, as long as two are in each other's range, and are targeted, they should link. Is it not that simple? I'm beginning to think the Mun comm-lose issue may be a glitch. I have a couple of other add-ons installed and I have a sneaking suspicion something's not playing nice with something else. I'm on Mac, and after a few launches I begin to get graphics artifacts (odd patches of shadows, craft becoming completely black as they climb into space, freezing, etc). That tends to happen with too many or incompatible add-ons. Is that the issue?
  5. I'm a first time RemoteTech user, and I am a bit confused with a problem I have. So far I've gone a bit ham with satellites. Sats at 300km (x5), 1200km (x4), kerbostationary orbit (x3) and 6000km (x2). Lots of coverage. The KSO and 6000km satellites have the Mun-range dish, but when I attempt to go to the Mun, about halfway to the body, I lose all communications, even though all satellites and the Mun-bound probe have power, and are well within the dish range. Whats going on? Do I need to target the probe to one of the comm sats/vice versa?
  6. I need some help getting this running on my Mac. I installed Mono and am attempting to run terminal to find the KLFClient.exe with it. Problem is that terminal can't find my KSP folder on my desktop. I do: "cd desktop" and it finds it fine. Then I do "cd KSP 2.1" and it says no such file or directory exists. What do I do?
