Now I know what your gonna say, Oh another challenge to circle Kerbin but this one is different! Welcome, to the Amelia Earhart Challenge! You may use the following mods: B9 Aerospace Pack: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/0-20-2-b9-aerospace-pack-r3-1/ Firespitter: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/firespitter-propeller-plane-parts/ Now you must decide if you are going to use the allowed mods or go stock (YOU MUST PUT THE PREFIX I GIVE WHEN YOU POST) The aircraft category's are: The Prefixes: \/ [MP] Propeller: Any Aircraft that uses a propeller and breaths air from the Firespitter Mod [sP] Stock Propeller, if you can do this you are amazing or a hacker. [MJ] Mod Jet: Any aircraft that uses jets and breaths air from the Aerospace Pack. [sJ] Stock Jet: Any Aircraft that uses jets and breaths air made from Squad parts ONLY. [MR] Mod Rocket: Any craft that uses oxidizer and liquid fuel mix from the Aerospace Pack. [sR] Stock Rocket: Any craft that uses oxidizer and liquid fuel mix made from Squad parts ONLY. All ships must be single stage (Excludes drop tanks (But only 6 drop tanks from the Firespitter mod) Points System: Yay! I did it: 1000 points for circling Kerbin without crashing (this includes quick-save) or refuelling. (Drop Tanks Are aloud) Encore!: 750 points if you can circle Kerbin again! You can land at KSC and refuel just don't launch the flight again. Get a Life! 100 points if you circle Kerbin for a third time. Same as before What did I just tell you! -500 points if you circle Kerbin for a fourth time. Grounded: 750 points if you need to send a re-fuel ship, it can be another aircraft or a rover (Can be remote controlled) Compact Compact: 250 points if you can use less than 100 parts (Must show work in the load craft menu) Road Trip! 100 points per extra Kerbal you take (One pilot only, all others must be in storage containers) Skinny Dippin: 100 points if you land, set a flag on all the beaches (Try to keep the flight on the equator.) Aw crap... -500 points per engine (if any) that flame out Why is the ground in the sky?!: -250 points per time your craft hits the ground and goes *Boom* R.I.P. NVR 4GET! -100 points per Kerbal you lose Another EDIT: For the greater good: 1 point if you crash into the control tower at KSC Submission: When you post your submission it MUST include the following: -Your Name -The Name of your craft. It's unlucky to not name your craft. -A picture of the craft with full crew and passengers on the KSC runway -A Picture of the craft in the SPH if you are trying for the "Compact Compact" points -A Picture of the mission log after the first circling of Kerbin -A Picture of the refuel at the KSC if going for a second time -A Picture of all the flags you planted -A picture of the mission log after the second circling of Kerbin Please be honest if you flame out or crash!
