The 330kN NERVA was spec'd to weigh about 17.5 tons (TWR = 2g) (vs. the 2.25 for the LV-N, TWR = 2.72g). Even with the discounted ISP, the LV-N is more efficient. Also, it's about 3m in diameter -- bigger than a Mainsail.
