The features are few, but huge..... Both features bring massive changes to the game. 64 bit unleashes unlimited potential to modders, and people who like to mod, while budget, etc. and everything with that adds a huge alteration to the game in the form of needing to balance that, and creating economically realistic ships to fit your budget, rather than always just building super monstrous ships. It will probably make refueling stations even more favored, instead of needing to build one mega ship after another, you just build 1 refueling station, 1 refueling ship, and 1 ship to make the full trip. HUGE difference.

Now that 64 bit is coming to .24 along with contracts, etc. etc. After a few weeks of playing .24, I will be actively starting on this mod Just a heads up!

You mean a space station that you can move from system to system? Kinda like the Death Star could move but was a station?

I had yet another Eureka moment last night. I rarely ever build space stations but last night I decided too. I realized... well... if I build it first in the assembly building, and then tear it apart and make sub assemblies out of the parts... I can be sure it'll fit right in space! So I did... How do you build your space stations? Pro Tip: If you don't fit under 1, 2, or 3, you fit under 4 4 is for all of you who plan extensively using anything else. #4 is for all of you who plan extensively using any other method Since there are well more than 10 ways of doing it, I just blobbed all the higher end more in depth ways into 4.

I decided to make a series of short Twitch streams where I create a large space station. It will consist of: -Central CnC Hub -Fission reactor -Large amounts of fuel for refueling STO's, VTOL's, and deep space missions -Large Science station -Sleeping/eating area (and a place to just chill) -Large docking bay area for several ships I actually decided to do this after I got my central part up into orbit already, so that's where the first one starts. It's not much in the way of a video but lets you see how the central point will look. Please give me tips if any on how to make my video's better (more enjoyable?). Unfortunately I can't make them higher quality otherwise it'll stutter terribly due to my internet. Voice also is out of the question (until I get a new mic anyway). Any Idea's of how to extend the space station is also welcome! Over all Plan: Launch 1: Setup the central unit - Completed Launch 2: Setup the Fission Reactor to power the base. - Completed Launch 3: Setup the Large refueling tanks Launch 4: Setup the Eating/Sleeping area Launch 5: Extend the Eating/Sleeping area with a large research base extension Launch 6: Setup the large docking bay area (may take several launches) Launch 1: (about 12 minutes long) http://www.twitch.tv/ladyathena/b/528963105 Launch 2: 59:43 minutes long Launch 2 Had difficulty meeting up with the station (hadn't done rendezvous in a long time). I used Mechjeb only to speed up the process for Twitch, I don't usually use it.

How will budget work?

They explained this in an earlier blog. For Contracts you'll get both reputation and money (and something else I forget). Failing a contract will reduce your reputation, and you will get no money from it. You can exchange money for reputation, or reptuation for money, or any of the two for the third thing (again I forget what it is). So even if you're low on money you can exchange one of the other 2 for it. Or if you're low on reputation etc. -

I know how to do everything without mechjeb. I use Mechjeb just for ship stats while building, and fine tuning intercepts when trying to match up with another object to dock, sometimes the little buttons don't give me enough fine tuning I need. -
I've decided Its time I really start learning whats what, down too the nitty gritty. I've asked a few questions in the past, and I've learned. I've made a ship capable of reaching all planets, but never one that's capable of landing on any and returning except the smaller moons. I'm using MechJeb to check my ships Delta V as last I heard that's what I should be looking at. I've also learned its extremely hard, if not impossible to create a ship that could land on any planet and return, due to the differences of each planet and reaching them. So my question is ultimately, as I'm building each stage of my rocket, and particularly the first stage (the lander), what do I look at to determine how much delta V and or lift my lander needs to land on any given planet and how do I check how much each planet is gonna need? I'd really like to start building specialized ships for each planet, and or Moon. So with the introduction of Asteroid Redirect mission I had this idea.... Jeb and I were flying to the Mun together, chatting away, when Jeb commented on how much the Mun looks like an over sized asteroid we redirected days earlier... Then I thought.. Huh.. I wonder if its possible too redirect the Mun, or other small Muns... Or at least, alter their path slightly... Anyone try this? I don't have the technical ability to build a ship capable of attempting this...

Just wondering (tried to look but didn't really see anything). When/if the .24 update will be released with contracts, etc. I know it was supposed to be sometime around with the NASA pack which has already been released, soo was wondering if there was word yet on an official date.

You know if you ever need to reinstall KSP you can pull over your campaign save file and ship files. Just put htem on your desktop, re install, and put them back into their folders.
