Singularity Research Initiative - dev thread
specs replied to Daemoria's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I must have this! ლ(à ² ç›Šà ² áƒš) -
Whoa, nice props, I can't wait till the next release! Any chance it'll be getting normals? Personally, I think that ALCOR deserves more TLC, and especially in regards to the textures... I threw myself together a quickie texture based off of it's original, it's 2048x2048, but as I said earlier, ALCOR definitely deserves to look spiffy:

MechJeb?! How about real Jeb? ;D But seriously, I've never used it... Although the readouts of real time flight data, and vessel info sounded enticing, it still feels like a lot of MechJeb's function is (and I know just saying this will invite every MechJeb fanboy down my throat feet-first, and donning crampons*) overriding any sense of justifiable accomplishment. That being said... I do use Raster Prop Monitor for real time flight information, and ScanSat for surface info... which is kind of MechJeb-y. *And since crampon sounds so similar to a certain type of unnamed 'feminine hygiene product', here's the definition Crampon: Obj, noun. A clawed traction assisting device that is affixed to the bottom of mountaineering boots for icy hiking, or trekking.

Whoa... It's... It's too beautiful to describe... Helldiver, I salute you.

I'm gone for one second, and now this!? Jesus Christ, stubbles! You are a machine! Although, I will say that Boamere hit the nail on the head with: "customization is the key but keeping it simple is very important too!" I know it's vague, but it's probably best to keep this little phrase rolling around your head during the dev process. Though, given your track record, I'm sure you won't disappoint...

Yep, this already goes against what I literally just posted, but since you accused me of not knowing about which I speak, this was the strawman I was referring to: Clearly, that wasn't my point, but if you (the word "you" being used in a manner that was directed at Blackheart612) want to act like a child... There you go.

Whoa! It's actually happening! Yeeeaaaahhh! Edit: Pweez reconsider the amount of MFDs in the cockpit (At the least, three of 'em?), as I like having everything right in front of me whilst flying, and dislike having to frantically look about the cabin during tense maneuvers. E.g. Landing, and docking.

Dragon Rider Capsule [0.23 (2/14/14)
specs replied to CardBoardBoxProcessor's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Holy ****! I now love this man. -
What!? How could I miss this thread! It's so cute, and tiny! My only suggestion would be to increase the amount of MFDs in the cockpit, as it seems that just having two of 'em might be a tad bit slim (unless you're preemptively compensating for the inevitable potato encounter!), and if that's the case... Why not make a secondary IVA with more than two MFDs available as an alt download?

My science! It's like Christmas all over again!

Sweet mother of heavy rocket propulsion, Batman! I'm literally dancing with joy as I type this (making it all rather difficult I might add)... And since reaction images are against forum rules, I'll just employ my usual workaround, and address this with a popular meme presented in manifestation oriented prose: *holds up camera* "neat."

I like the consolidation idea... Surprise us with awesome!

The bespectacled metal man is not pleased by your efforts... nor is he affected by your puny napalm. Check, and mate mister gun mounted-on-a-boat-shooting-flamey-stuff guy!

Ah, digging through my old screens... It's fun stumbling across missions you've long since forgotten: An early stride towards interplanetary travel... This was "Joolian One", A large, single crewed vessel constructed in orbit around Minmus, and designed to establish a stable orbit around Jool. Sadly, the vehicle fell short of it's intended purpose, and Jeb was forced to tear his ship apart; then Macgyver himself a new one out of the remains. Jeb surveys the disassembled behemoth, while Jool observes disapprovingly And one service module attached to the main control module later, I now have a ship capable of returning to Kerbin.

Yeeeaaah! That's what's up! Edit: Words of warning: End yo flights... The docking port has been changed drastically. -
Couldn't help myself.
