Thanks for all the work Cydonian.. as for the serial ports.. you can search for /dev/cu.modem* I believe. I think the idea of a config file would be fine, but a pull down selectable device would be even better! Looking forward to testing what you come up with.

I guess I'm not sure why it would need to be in the app bundle, or even outside of the GameData directory.. but then I don't know much about KSP plugins.. There are other plugins that send data out to external devices.. but they are not using the serial port directly.. the CCP app ( Custom Control Pad ) for example.. I really hope we can figure this out.. It would be a lot of fun to play around with the Arduino. Thanks again for all your hard work guys.. if I can help out at all.. Please let me know!

Great thanks!! If I can help out in anyway I'd be happy to.. I currently have my Arduino Uno programmed and wired for the three LED test tutorial listed.. just need the KSP plugin. I think a plugin like this would be so useful.. I really like the idea of an external display.

Hello all, I'm really hoping I can find a Mac Modder out there that can fork this plugin.. I think the original idea was very cool, but unfortunately the creator is unable to made a Mac version of the plug in. Can anyone help? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...l-%2804-Feb%29 Source code for the plugin https://github.com/zitron-git/KSPSerialIO

Is there a list of advanced channels identifiers for displays and controls? So we can create our own custom CCP layouts? ( ie, like I noticed Stage is Channel 1, Liquid fuel level is Channel 18 and Oxidizer is Channel 19 )

I'd love to see a Mac version of the plugin.. Where can I find it? Would the Mac version of the plugin work with this? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/66393-Hardware-Plugin-Arduino-based-physical-display-serial-port-io-tutorial-%2831-Jan%29?highlight=hardware -

[WiP][Web] Science List Application - v0.3 - (30/12)
cyoung_mi replied to celem's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
Is it possible to add an "All" button? or a way to print out a chart showing all bodies and biomes? I'd like a paper copy I can use to check off what I've done. Thanks! Great work! Very helpful. -
Thanks! I'll be using it for sure.. Looking forward to it.

I did find this on another forum post, I guess this could work. Wish it was in a table format or something easier to use. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/56921-Kerbal-Science-Checklist I guess I figured by now, with all the Delta-V calculators, and engineering documents out there, someone would have published a Science spreadsheet/checklist by now I'm not sure if anyone has mapped all the new biomes for Minmus yet to add to the list.
-
I was wondering if there is already a science checklist or spreadsheet out there for 0.23 I know it would be a SPOILER, but for those of us that don't mind, it would be nice to have something to check off. I know 0.23 lists the science completed, but it would be nice to have a list of all the science available. I figured by now there MUST be a nice checklist, or spreadsheet out there, but my search hasn't been able to find one yet.

My firewall is off, and I have tried another port number. Is there any other plugin's required or services needed? Younata - What system did you use? I've even installed a fresh stock version of 0.23, with only Telemachus. I'll try and install it into version 0.22 and see if it works on my system. Update: Tried version 1.4.11 on 0.22 and doesn't seem to work either. Any thoughts?
-
I'm having issues with 0.23 OSX, I am running Mavericks 10.9 I get the following on the Debug when clicking Open Link: [Log]: [Telemachus] Unable to open the data link. Please try to edit the Telemachus configuration file manually when I edit the config.xml file adding either 127.0.0.1 or the actual IP of the machine, and I click the Open Link button, a Chrome window but unable to reach the server. I did install version 1.4.12

KSPMM Reloaded - Beta #2 - Functioning Modpacks!
cyoung_mi replied to ROFLCopter64bit's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
Is this a windows only app? or will you be compiling a Mac version? -
I'm having trouble driving the rover around the Mun surface. Very hard to control, does it need more mass? or am i just doing it wrong. It's just all over the place, flipping over and such. ( yes the brakes are off ) I don't know how you would have enough control to slide under a section to dock. I can't even seem to get the rover to the section to begin with.

Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions. How do I change this post from [unanswered] to [Answered]? -
It's very nice they added the SubAssembly category to the parts list. But I was wondering if I could create my own category and place my favorite/most used parts there for quick and easy use. in other words, is it possible to add another tab to the parts list, and copy / paste parts into it? Just favorites, doesn't matter if they are Science parts, or Control parts, just a quick place to grab the most used parts.

If anyone has a set of Base modules ( and their launchers ) they want to share, that would be very helpful!
