  1. tell me more about APS functionality plz (ingame too). it r small boxes on aft side of S-IVB, right? may be a forgot it.... S-II retros present in model, but still unfunctional. i can add it as working separate part, it is simple, but rocket is too hard to assemble already. are adding additional separate parts be a right way?
  2. i have tried this. becomes impossible to drive csm, too many parasiting vectors on one side. as i saw on pictures, CM did not have RCS on its hatch opposite side. because of this i placed top RCS block looking at back side (for better playability in game)
  3. thanks for warm words . indeed, i come back to modelling and configuring and trying to create extended version of APOLLO-SATURN pack. 1. LLRV will come back. 2. LRV will be not a brick but a car 3. SATURN-IB stage and H-1 engine will been added. 4. APOLLO CM IVA added. 5. APOLLO LEM IVA rebuilt. 6. APOLLO functional subsat has been added. 7. ALSEP devices reworked. 8. APOLLO SM block III in progress and will be added (shorted SM) 9. More stage separation effects has been added. 10. most textures reworked. looking for tester (and/or bughunter) for increasing speed of release.
  4. well, such bugs will be fixed in upcoming version (i hope), but i dunno what doing this. i never saw such bug myself. new RPM i guess is the occasion. also, of course, i know about real Apollo heatshield. and this was a long thoughts - should game's heatshield plays jettisonable (for visual purposes) or not. I'm russian and i prefer jettisonable shields Ok, still dont sure how it must be in game. If u want, u can just remove decoupling module from config.
  5. yup. added. seems like i found a way to activate separation motors without additional stage. If it works, LES will be updated too/
  6. well, if you speaking about black pegs - i saw it only on blueprints, and as i have read, it must be burned out while descending. also, it itself does not support pegs, it are just amortisation gasket
  7. this are very quick and simple models, created with the help of editable lofts (or splines + get object), and it has been created less than two days. no IVA, no UV etc. And, currently, me myself working on rebuilding SATURN-V-APOLLO and N-1-LOK-LK complexs... well, if you have interest, i could share this dynasoar's meshes up to you, if you will be ready to texture it. Seems like i'll have time to texture it myself only after some other things in my plan (not less than a month).
  8. seems like i got needing to update it, because of some changes in RPM in its last versions. with new knowledge i got last 3 months i redid all meshes, added some new functions (and dependensies) and i hope - detalisation of models will grows up. despite this models becomes more lighter, i think new version will be 1.5 times lighter than current one. But saves will be broken ;(.
  9. well, i'm on the way to check all in new KSP version. also, do u have kerbalJointReinforceent installed? as i heard, FAR and RSS can also cause a problem. i didnt do adaptation myself, but heard that it are on forum.
  10. ya, it may be more heavy model than stock ones. but it is much more light than my previous KSP models and it works. I preer realism (replica models), and there is no way - only poligons up. what do u think, how many triangles are in it? PS: use modern PC and there will be no lag

  13. hehe, already done first pass, in low quality, but i will rebuild it for more realistic, as more other models. And there are a couple unmanned soviet probes has been done. but as always the story is following: one day i typed in one of the forum's topic - there are following outgo of time in my modding timeline: 25% - 3D modeliing, 50% - texturing, 5% -unity, 20% - CFG writing and ingame initial testing. well, i like gametesting and 3D, and may model fast enough, but i do not like texturing work and very bad painter and spend a lot of time to it. And i dunno when i can start LUNA-17-LUNOKHOD texturing. here are something (soviet only) (sputnik-1, sputnik-3, luna-2, luna-9, luna-13, luna-17 (lunkhod + stage), venera-3, venera-9 (orbital stage and lander) bold - are finished models, other - still in progress

  15. well, here it is with block D. About decoupler. I know about SOYUZ, but seems like ZOND has some differencies from it. About umbilical - sure i know too. but moduleJettison brings me a lot on ass pain. Landing rockets presents too, but this added one more dependencies from another mod. Not a big problem when items were made for me only (mostly ), but i heard people dont like dependencies, right?
  16. Gentelmen for modding usage and for complicated devices i have faced strong need for smart plagin that will disable connection between nodes of different sizes. Are this possible? Could somebody help ??? (nodes of different sizes are prohibited to connect) size1+size1 = true size0+size1 = false
