Hello there fellow Kerbonaut (that right? seems it isn't)! But yes, Duna does have atmos to use parachute in, thing is it is extremely low to the ground (about 10km?) It has gotten me a few times for not noticing as well. =/

I had similar issue, I tried to do it the way others have: But I only found out that adding the two lines: I added these two lines under each item here: The main issue was/is that TechRequired and survivability is CASE SENSITIVE (I went and copied two lines from the radial parachute code and it works perfect now. Hope this explains well, not sure why the other way did not work (the @PART one)
