  1. Ok thanks, im preparing for a mission as we speak
  2. Is it on the mun? cant really make out the location on the screenshot.
  3. Thats what i was thinking, its not was i was expecting a "Cave" to look like.
  4. Wow thats not what i was expecting as a cave, i had in my mind a hole in a side of a terrain mountain lol, thanks for posting that!
  5. How can a cave be an artifact? surely it would be classed as part of the terrain.. Where as something like the Kraken or the memorial sites would be classed as artifacts.
  6. I didnt think the mapsats could detect caves only artifacts?
  7. The Easter eggs im currently looking for are the caves, as they for me are the most curious of the secrets and they cant be found using the mapsats but by using good old fashioned exploring
  8. Thanks all Ill try to post some pics of my space station once its up and running!
  9. Hi all i have been playing kerbal since 0.11 and its a great game and thought i would share some screenshots of my progress so far. Landed but not how i wanted to on Eve. The start of my mun base. After seeing a few Cruiser designs here on the forums i thought id have a go at one myself which in now in mun orbit. A landing but as you can see not a successfull landing... lol, but a landing none the less So there you have it guys my progress so far, my next project is a space station. Hope you like my pictures StrangeyD
  10. Ye when i launched the satellite i wasnt really in a stable orbit i was just testing the concept really. Funny enough i downloaded the solar panels and the flare yesturday, but then i downloaded the v.11 experimental release and been testing that since so havent really done anything else with the flare and panels yet! I like the orbital map for the v.11 release plus would help with satellite tracking if on the map it also showed as an icon, that way would make docking or just viewing the satellite after launch so much easier!
  11. Ye i think the hardest part will be to make visual contact with the satellite after the orbit, also extreme thruster control will be needed to even come close, but i like the challenge so ill post my results I think ill use the same satellite as above but with extra parts to be able to spot it better! 12. Please feel free to add criticism of the designs, as i am always open to improvements. I have been thinking of trying to put a satellite outside of the orbit of the planet and trying to revisit it on the return orbit, ready for the space station and docking updates of the future! ^what u think? do-able? StrangeyD
  13. Hi all, This is my latest design to be able to carry a satellite to space, deliver it in orbit then safely return to the planet. (I wasnt aiming for the launch pad, just a safe landing!) Here are a few pics of the journey, i aint got it perfect yet but still trying. Takeoff! Separated Boosters, Started 45 degree Incline for entering Orbit. Leveled Out, Last of Fuel Burning off, before separation. Separation of Fuel Tanks. Separation of Satellite (Accidentally did too early, but successful none the less) Burn for Re-entry Ready for Water Splash down, after final separation ( which can be seen in the background lol) Hope you like the Design, it was a first attempt. Will retry soon with better separation of satellite, and Landing! StrangeyD
  14. Thanks for the Welcome Im currently adding some of my designs to the spacecraft exchange section, hope u like the designs! StrangeyD
  15. Hello all, Been playing with the game for around two weeks now and really like it! Mostly like the variation and diversity of the designs which can be made from stock or community added parts. Will be posting a few of my latest designs soon, plus one or two challenge ideas i have had! Glad to be here, Cant wait for more updates StrangeyD
