  1. We need a tailskid! Just kidding! Don't land with lots of fuel!
  2. Just returned from a successful satellite launch and KSO rendezvous with KSS for crew change (Jeb was getting bored). Tried to get a hero shot in front of the lander and none of the crew could exit the KSO. The message was "Hatch is obstructed, can't exit." I tried it both with and without the ladder extended. Any ideas what's wrong?
  3. Never had this problem. The nose gear barely extends below the gear door - but has always held the fuselage off the runway when landing. Do you have a picture?
  4. I second the rotatable mechanism. This not only addresses the collision potential during deployment but also opens up new mission potential. One can use it to - facilitate station building without a separate tractor/tug to position the new module. The shuttle can do it all. - carry a standalone docking port for those hard to reach station or vehicle ports. Useful if you don't want a permanent port just for the shuttle - recover Kerbin-orbiting satellites, and, - capture planetary or munar probes to return their science payloads to Kerbin for full science credit. (This is my favorite in this list) One could build a rotating "mount" with other mods - but it wouldn't have the feel of one unique to KSO. The unmanned, wingless version has potential but I favor just the unmanned version. Keeping the wings allows it to fulfill the missions listed above. Thoughts?
  5. A glamor shot after tonight's last flight with 1.11. Normally I don't leave vehicles on the ramp, but I just might leave these two beauties there. Also, interesting size comparison between the two:
  6. Helldiver - what does the avionics add to vehicle control? I've been flying 1.11 all afternoon and am finally landing consistently ...
  7. No - It's been fine. I have a couple stations up with it docked and deployed. I've read where others have issues with it... breaking... floating... but I haven't had any of these... Don't really know why either but I'm not complaining Rick
  8. Helldiver, Nazari - Love the KSO! You guys did an awesome job. I'm still working on landing *successfully* - but see lots of mission ideas. Here's tonight's flight to the KSS to swap out crew.
  9. Expecting 0.23 to break saves, Jeb made one last trip to the station and returned the crew to Kerbin leaving the Soyuz behind "just in case." Approaching: Docking: Docked:
