  1. Thanks a bunch Kendrick and Fenrir Oorgata! Marking thread as solved. It seems like disabling PPFX in graphics menu solves the problem with my Intel GPU.
  2. Already tried that. Does not work anymore. My log is here: http://pastebin.com/T3111Sj0 Yes, my laptop is slow but handles KSP surprisingly well and I haven't had any performance problems with "normal sized" rockets.
  3. Hi! I'm running Linux Mint 16 64-bit and since I'm on vacation and cant access my stationary computer, I have not been able to verify this with another computer. However, it seems like I'm not the only one experiencing this: This description matches my problem exactly. This happens every time I start the game and start a save. But oddly enough, this did not happen the first time I started the game and I cant see that I did anything differently the second time game. My problem is also similar to this one, although I have never had any problems with any version of KSP before 0.90.0 ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/100776-Terrain-textures-glitched-out ). My KSP log: http://pastebin.com/T3111Sj0 (note that my laptop is a bit slow but 0.90.0 is the only KSP-version that is slow like heck) My KSP settings: http://pastebin.com/81Q6uStt Here is a screen shot of what it looks like: My system: System: Host: fnadde42-laptop Kernel: 3.11.0-12-generic x86_64 (64 bit, gcc: 4.8.1) Desktop: Gnome Distro: Linux Mint 16 Petra Machine: System: Dell product: Inspiron 3521 version: A07 Mobo: Dell model: 0N4J7H version: A00 Bios: Dell version: A07 date: 04/18/2013 CPU: Dual core Intel Core i3-3227U CPU (-HT-MCP-) cache: 3072 KB flags: (lm nx sse sse2 sse3 sse4_1 sse4_2 ssse3 vmx) bmips: 7582.58 Clock Speeds: 1: 779.00 MHz 2: 779.00 MHz 3: 779.00 MHz 4: 1901.00 MHz Graphics: Card: Intel 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller bus-ID: 00:02.0 X.Org: 1.14.6 driver: intel Resolution: [email protected] GLX Renderer: Mesa DRI Intel Ivybridge Mobile GLX Version: 3.0 Mesa 9.2.1 Direct Rendering: Yes Audio: Card: Intel 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller driver: snd_hda_intel bus-ID: 00:1b.0 Sound: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture ver: k3.11.0-12-generic Network: Card-1: Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter driver: ath9k bus-ID: 02:00.0 IF: wlan0 state: up mac: bc:85:56:1c:db:15 Card-2: Realtek RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller driver: r8169 ver: 2.3LK-NAPI port: 2000 bus-ID: 01:00.0 IF: eth0 state: down mac: 74:86:7a:1f:77:0a Card-3: Atheros usb-ID: 0cf3:e004 IF: N/A state: N/A speed: N/A duplex: N/A mac: N/A Drives: HDD Total Size: 1000.2GB (42.5% used) 1: id: /dev/sda model: ST1000LM024_HN size: 1000.2GB Partition: ID: / size: 913G used: 396G (46%) fs: ext4 ID: swap-1 size: 4.16GB used: 0.16GB (4%) fs: swap RAID: No RAID devices detected - /proc/mdstat and md_mod kernel raid module present Sensors: System Temperatures: cpu: 49.0C mobo: N/A Fan Speeds (in rpm): cpu: N/A Info: Processes: 179 Uptime: 2:47 Memory: 710.6/3828.9MB Runlevel: 2 Gcc sys: 4.8.1 Client: Shell inxi: 1.8.4
  4. My friends and I played some GATU this evening and here is a image of it. Our model rocket organization is attending to a big LAN-party here and we are gonna offer people to play some Kerbal GATU and simulate how it feels to go about in space. A really awesome night although we concluded that it was a bit harder than we initially thought. We managed to get us in orbit even though it wasn't a pretty one. Next time we'll get it right! PS. This image was taken long before we realized that we needed MOAR screens per player!
