Hey guys, another opinions thread! What are your favorite mods that you use? Why do you like them? What are some good mods that add to the kerbal space program experience? Post them here, I want to hear what you have to say! As of late, my most favorite mod is probably the KW rocketry pack, because it makes delta V much easier to generate, but you only really get to the good stuff at the end of the science tree, I also like the KAS and Biomass mods because they add new things to the game that allow you to open your mind to more opportunities and great inventions. Feel free to post some mods that you think are great down in the comments and thank you for your time!

Hey everyone, this is a forum thread where you can post pictures of your rockets that makes you the most proud, even if it failed. To me I probably have to say my most proud mission was one to Minmus, even though i don't have any pictures of the mission or the rocket I will try to explain it best I can. It was a 4 staged multi-lander with 3 Mk 1 pods, and I brought it to land on minmus and collected about 900+ science from flying EVA on the face of it. I know people have done much better but I am extremely proud of how much fuel i managed to land with, i had about 4 minutes of burn left in my rocket and about 700 delta V left. Today, I am setting up a space station to orbit around the mun, at which point i will send up about 4 landers to rendezvous with it, refuel, and land on the moon, collect data, fly back up to rendezvous, and then send the data (via space lab) and return the rest of the samples back to kerbin. Sounds pretty complicated but i am just having problems getting enough delta V to get the station up there, i think i will probable build it modularly so i can make it in space rather than send it all up at once.

Hey everyone, I need some tips, not because I suck at this game (maybe I do) but because I really need some help. I don't understand why but getting to other planets is very complicated, and only about 30% of my rockets are actually successful in getting to MINMUS! So I have no idea what I am doing wrong but is there some kind of ratio or some way to get a lander into space (I always run out of fuel before getting to Duna) and to Duna with fuel to spare? I would rather build my own spaceship so anything that serves as advice would help me very much! Thanks alot in advance!

My most unexpected thing I have ever done was I was on my first intercept course to duna, and when I was in the intercept, I attempted to do an EVA report, and when my kerbal got out of the rocket he got shot away at 200 m/s. Luckily I had a jetpack so I could fly myself back to the rocket safely in orbit

Yeah I kinda figured it would be a bad idea, thanks for your input, I do hope that maybe one day they will add a multiplayer implementation that would be really cool! But yes it is a bad idea i will probably just keep the post just for fun!

My suggestions, which maybe kind of sucky, I don't know, I think that maybe we should have something at the end of the career tree that turns it into a section that you can unlock, and can't come back, like for instance advanced space station technologies vs advanced rocket technologies, or electric technologies that makes it to when you buy one, you can't buy the other tree. It may not be that much of a suggestion and probably not many people would find it worthwhile or anything interesting, but you know, what the heck. But if you think this is a good idea tell me so, in the down theirs I greatly appreciate it!

Hey again, I have a quick question, more like a quick answer. I have build a plane that will fly me to the Arctic poles of the Kerbin, so here is the question, I am having a problem landing on the arctic surface, and I need some ideas on how to land, even if they are crazy. Whenever I land my plane freaks out and crashes, and it is a 30 min flight on 4x speed. Plz help lol trial and error is not working so well for me thanks! PS. When I land i did make sure that the setting 1x was on but I will post pictures of my plane on here, I am about mid-campaign with beginner planes! Thanks!

I honestly really suck at math, my "science" experience happened sometime when I was younger, the only thing I really know is that I have always really loved space and being an astronaut. It is my dream to become an astronaut, I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else, thats why KSP is so awesome for me because it is a "near-real-life" simulation of how things are done!

Do any of you guys know any way to speed up kerbal space program to make it run faster? I have a 9 gig computer and I get about 10FPS when looking at planets like kerbin, and I would greatly appreciate if any of you had some suggestions! Thanks

Almost made it to Duna, sadly, I was on my last stage using the poodle engine and a combination of the medium and small rockomax tanks, I was already halfway out of fuel once i got my Duna encounter and ran out of fuel whilst trying to bend into an orbit, I will try again!
