Version: V0.90.0, Windows, 64-bit What Happens: Predicted Orbital Lines appear random and square-esque Mods / Add-Ons: All Stock Steps to Replicate: 1) Build large-ish rocket (I used the 3-kerbal command pod with the remote science lab on top of the appropriately sized reaction wheel set pushed with a LFB KR-1x2 after the shorter appropriately sized separator (thin and blue), designed to fit the contract standard 5-kerbal base) and fly to ~35Mm equatoral orbit. 2) Create an encounter with Minimus just entering it's sphere of influence. 3) Activate SAS with all torque wheels active. 4) Use the SAS automatic control system to point in a specific direction eg. retrograde, prograde, radial, anti-radial, etc. 5) Swap to map-mode. Result: Pod will flip over while controlling kerbal. Pod stops when kerbal stops walking. The shaking of the ship while it over-corrects to point regtrograde/prograde/whatever constantly causes the orbital line to dance in and out of the sphere of influence. When outside of the sphere, strange orbital shapes appear. Here is an image of the skewed orbit-line: Here is a craft capable of replicating the scenario: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwkqQUMaryIqNlk3amI1WTFPWjg/view?usp=sharing Similar/identical issues have been pointed out on Facebook threads in previous versions but have become notably less frequent. Here are two examples:
